Wow I read that FT article Knocker and honestly can't believe how shocking that man Gardin truly is and still continues to play the fiddle on investors but sadly sees no comeuppance whatsoever for being so bloody callous.

If the QBT chart shows you that it is an imminent 100 bagger, pedalcar, why are you worrying about ARB? Just pile all your money into QBT, as you claim to be doing.

Have you been naughtily reading the FT article on QBT, against Sharetalk's instructions, and are now feeling a bit queazy about QBT?

Remember, Sharetalk told you it was a paid for de-ramping article (in the FT LOL), and moderated from his BB all posts containing links to the text of it. He did that for your own good, you know, so that your weekend would not be spoilt.

Does anyone recall back in 2021 when good old Jerome Powell was stating inflation was just transitory and really not that concerning to the wider market but then realised soon after that inflation had been brewing for the last two decades due to all their ridiculous QE policies of the past and with a lack of any real foresight to what it would cause in future!

...Now the goons of the federal reserve are stating no less than three rate cuts later this year because they're of the opinion that two consecutive months of rising inflation is not that compelling for them to re-evaluate their cost cutting measures but I wonder if its 'Deja Vu' all over again folks because the sc_um US really do like to get ahead of themselves but at the behest of the truly incompetent Powell who should really take early retirement as he's just not fit for purpose!

Ivan, sometimes, sometimes not.Like any business and its shares, its value and its perceived value, depends on many factors. All BTC Miners are not a direct proxy for BTC, but the fortunes of BTC do have a strong influence on them.

The market dynamics for all things cryptos are very different this time round to what has occurred during past halving events with the long awaited ETF approval and significant institutional involvement so I don't understand why you state 2024 is pretty much in-line with the 2016 & 2020 movements Knocker because from what I can see they're certainly not.

Look at the BTC price movements around the last couple of halvings.
It didn't make an ATH ahead of either, and did not get moving until many months afterwards. So far, BTC 2024 is pretty much in line with the 1016 and 2020 movements.

Some say BTC has a predictable patten, but I am not convinced by any of the valuation models, save tht it is generally does not do well when big tech is not doing well.

As for ARB, I feel no inclination to get back in now, though it is below the price at which I sold out the last of my holding. If BTC follows the 2016 and 2020 pattens, ARB is going to be in trouble when the cost of mining doubles next month because its balance sheet is not strong enough to wait long for the BTC price to rise. It is dependent upon making a trading profit on mining and selling BTC.

Others take a different view I know, and i certainly have no crypto crystal ball, but while I am happy to ride the roller coaster with BTC I feel a whole lot happier being out of the miners (and especially ARB at present.

Sorry to be so gloomy, but that is how I see it and, more importantly, how i am playing it. Time will tell whether I have got it plaited or not.

Its a difficult one to envisage Knocker especially when the US have such an affiliation for it and it takes a very brave man to go against the sc_um US buddy but by all respects, the much anticipated halving must be priced for action now and the USs economy is starting to falter..finally!
