Disappointed to see this not hold the gains. If you have the patience to overcome Colin's timelines then you will do very well from here.

You really do not understand do you ?

The public consultation meeting was held in Q4 last year and the (very few) objections incorporated into the Scope of the ESIA submitted to the Ministry also in Q4. The ESIA and EMP were approved recently and both are, as I understand, in progress. Objections are history and if you knew how to do it, you can consult the public register for the project. Do you want the entry portal to assuage your ignorance ?

It is usually best to recognise where others know more about a subject. A loud and wide mouth is not an asset. I wonder how many times you have been through Windhoek or even ever read the relevant legislation. I think I know the answers

Esia is a huge document to create and submit. And is the last line for anyone to raise objections to a project. They still have to create and submit the eisa and then wait whilst it's picked apart and ping-ponged between departments. That process could take an unspecified time, so for anyone to state that it will be quick or easy or in the bag or just one month or even 2 years, it would take a liar to make any of those assertions.

Not on a downer here biggles, was just impatient for news.

There is serious money to be made here if Colin can get off market funding and the ESIA is forthcoming.
Notwihstanding anything coming from the other two arenas.

Good to hear you have 2%+ ;-)

Well you're not socially awkward are you. Rofl.Good luck with your pump. You'll be long gone before people realise the lies of your oh so knowledgeable assertions. How about stepping down a peg fella, you're the same level as everyone in here, stop trying to stick your nose in the air or you'll just make a pillock of yourself.

Shame you do not understand the workings in Namibia but I can't do much about your ignorance. The permitting procedure is different to Europe and most other jurisdictions.

The ML was awarded on the basis of a scope of work for the ESIA and EMP ALREADY SUBMITTED AND APPROVED. It is just about delivery. The initial submission is where a long timeframe applies NOT the acceptance of the ESIA and clearance to proceed and 'break ground'.

Sometimes it is better to recognise that others know rather better than you. Sadly you have a long record on other companies where you open you mouth in ignorance.

First quantum quarterly report out tonight after canadian hours I believe. Could be news in it re the two important deep drill hole test results , testing if we have analogous prospect to Ivanhoes local monster copper mine (2nd biggest in the world). So possibly will be an updated rns tomorrow morning on back of it by Colin Bird, talking about that and shallower prospects. All in my honest opinion!

Not in Namibia. It works a different way. The ECC is issued then the ESIA is undertaken as a Red Light test. Ongombo is in a remote location. No communities and no surface water. Clever move by CB to commit to ore pre-concentration and internal export of upgraded material. Minimises water use on site. Very smart.

The ESIA wil take 4 months with submission by the year end, probably earlier.

Environmental clearance, but then the rns goes on to say they still need to do an Environmental and social impact assessment "Esia"This document alone is a long process, as witnessed by emmerson EML who have been 2 years from submitting to expecting final approval soon.

Some Sandfire progress reported

OK, not much, just assays awaited on soil samples and plans for airborne gravity

Plus one geological hole, and one hole coincident with an anomaly, to be drilled soon

The 2 year option agreement ends in October - let's hope they progress enough to want to continue it
