9 trades today, that's more like it. Roll on the JORC.

we also need to see the political situation stabilising, whilst the French hand over security to African troops.

Key thing is Randgold staying healthy as they are our likely buyer.

Drifting here, might be time to load up again. Couple of months until the JORC of truth.

I think the plan will to sell Gourbassi, pay me a 10p dividend :), and use the rest to fund the further projects getting to Jorc estimates, without the need for equity funding.. I'm hoping for a divi, because I will be reluctant to sell here, unless they decide to develop Gourbassi themselves ....costly business development

Gourbassi looks a very good open pit candidate, so hopefully an easy sell given the likely tonnage and grade.

I think the Praetorian and Fiske will be keen to minimise dilution as the company grows which should bode well for us.

Have a read of chip's gold thread. Once we get te JORC next up is a scoping study, then PDA, then bfs. The share price should lift on JORC and the. Once there is confirmation it can be done open pit. Any kind of estimate of costs below 1400 bucks per oz should mean lift off time.I'd still like to see us sell this first one though, find, sell and move on to the next target.

yes .. JohnGilchrist ...my infamy precedes me .... but my great plan was foiled when I found out that you don;t pay corporation tax in Jersey, so can't offset you tax losses ...... bummer ... .

no corporation... learn something new every day :)

Forgive the O/T ... but Noventa may be worth a punt.

Nick confirmed there is resale value in a Shell plc on AIM. Then the wise man sage mentioned "tax", then slowly the brain cells kicked in ....kerchiing

Question 1: What has Noventa been very successful at in recent years?
Answer 1: making a big losses - $10m(2010), -$54m (2011) , 2012 ?? got to be another -$50m+

Question 2: What value is there in making a loss?
Answer 2: If someone who made a $50m+ operating profit in the last year ALONE, bought Noventa through a reverse takeover then the magic equation for success is ..... drum roll please ....

Tax Liability for 2012 = $50m (profit) - $54m (loss) = -$4m ... Value .= priceless??

Guaranteed!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen ... as Maximus Decimus Meridius famously once said " Hold the line! Stay with me! "

Good to have some discussion on here, hopefully some volume pick-up leading to expected JORC end of 1H.

Cheers. I think only 1 in 200 gold prospects ever make it to the development phase. So in understand your scepticism, and I am sure that it is born from experience.

I'm a bit more aggressive in my investments :)

When AME supply enough information to try to attempt to calculate intrinsic value i will do so. At the moment they have not demonstrated anything which gives them value as far as i am concerned Dr Drillbit and Dr JORC will determine that followed by Professors SS, PEA, PFS and BFS

john don't give up the day job you won't make it as a gold junior analyst

AME is promising and probably very undervalued but some of your reasoning looks like hoping rather than analysing

My favourite feedback from a pi at the Mining Maven event, posted on iii by OditMoras on the 19th march

RE: Presentation this evening
"I'll try and remember. I was there tonight.
Your man was there with his exploration chief.
They're paying a visit to Cornwall next few days to talk to consultant.
Seemed as though he wanted to say more but was advised not to by said consultant.
He was surprised the results announced hadn't moved the share price more.
I seek to remember he said cash burn was 60k a month and that he'd taken a pay cut to help bottom line.
They're financed for everything they need to do for the rest of the year. I.e Maiden JORC is financed.
He's not fussed about security. He's not going to invest in security. His high profile neighbours (Ashanti being one) will take care of that"

Just an uncorroborated quote. Was anyone else there who can back up this rather tantalising report?

Either AME is the best kept secret or most shunned share on AIM .... Mali political factor I assume??

1. 84m shares in circulation
2. 40%+ held by institutional investors
3. 5% held by the Chairman
4. Maiden Jorc expected in H1, for Gourbassi Asset, 1km open strike lengths and shallow deposits, suitable for low costs open pit extraction
5. £1.76m Cash in the bank, circa £60k monthly cash burn rate
6. Market Cap £3,47m
7. South Mali location, over 1000km away from any trouble.
8. Satellite geophysics light up like Guy Fawkes night.
9. Randgold Resources very active in Mali and likely Buyer/Developer/JV Partner. (TBA)
10. Existing Warrants at 12p
11. In terms of my personal conviction to AME - I have £30k on AME and its my 3rd biggest play.
12. Recent presentation below. NB. the actual use of the work Bonanza grade should catch the eye.

500,000 JORC with 200 usd profit per ounce = 100,000,000. Scary good prospects.

Yes that was a point put by the ceo in the last presentation ..It does seem the size of mali and actual area of prospects are misunderstood by some otential investors.

Shares magazine listed AME as one to watch in its mining and resource quarterly. Great gold results but said some may be put off by the location although that hasn't stopped rand gold flourishing. Hopefully that will stir up a bit of interest.
