Apart from director holdings ...according to website 35.3 million shares are held by PRaetorian,@ 17 million ,New city have 7.8 million, Fiske ,have 6.4 mill,UIA insurance have 4 million..... so

out of 84.2 mill shares issued there are 49 million left ...minus director holdings... VERY FEW SHARES out there ..So..Any rush to buy will cause a squeeze which will make the recent 300% rise in nvta look modest imo...
That could happen on increased grades being found or a proper appraisal of the last rns..or two..or as this disturbance 1000 K from our area cost the share price dear ..a reversal of the rebel fortunes should see the share price back where it should be..With the french ,other euro nations and surrounding african countries now involved..including nigeria..I forsee a rapid improvement. The rebels and in particular the alkaiedah section will push off somewhere more friendly ..probably Algeria... Good riddance ..Meanwhile our very economical drilling campaign continues apace.. I trust this BOD.

French have already gone far east to Gao attacking militant strongholds. Looks like they have cleared Gao already. Presume ground campaign will start shortly to follow up on the air strikes. Thousands of soldiers pouring in should be enough to secure the main towns in the north east and prevent the militants recapturing land. Release of Timbuktu probably key to the emotional victory locally.

Have to remember Mali was a major tourist route even just a year ago and tourism accounted for one third of GDP. The militants have a lot to answer for but its the local people that I am more relieved for. Ordinary lives turned upside down by a group of nasty power seekers, hiding behind religion.

only 84 million shares in issue, most tightly held, so with tight liquidity, could be an interesting few weeks now the French are taking action and with drill results pending on Kossanto and the company, post drill, confident of a maiden resource. A few hundred thousand ounces will give us a great boost.

yes never thought I would be grateful for French intervention, but Hollande has finally been decisive and with international help, they can hopefully take back the North.

Doesnt affect AME operations in the south west at all, as they are a thousand kilometres from the trouble spots. but it may help sentiment, which as far as I can see is the only negative surrounding AME - on every other front they have made excellent progress in the last six months or so.

here's to 20p a share once again.

It's all going on in Mali. French now set to use drones in the north, and British support aircraft being sent to help.Senegal and Nigeria also have troops on the ground.

well must be the best kept secret amongst explorer miners on "aim" One day when real volume hits this hard we will have an auction fest imo..I just dont see where the shares will come from? So many are in higher and a lot of shares tightly held.My 100K buy the second biggest this morning...onwards to the JORC.

It will sparty. now 3.55 to buy and moving up. 84 mill shares in issue, so tight stock and will have a sharp move to reflect the kossanto permit assets which are highly prospective and could yield a million ounce or so project i believe.

then again, at the moment market cap mainly covered by cash, there is a fair way to go

Just a shame that this never gets the big volume that say, noventa gets.Low number of shares in noventa(but more than in here!)NVTA is a basket case but can up 300% in a day...under high volume..This a well run highly prospective company never seems to get the volume it deserves..

was 23p at one point I think in 2011, pre Kossanto. And that came into the portfolio summer 2012, but nobody noticed. Just as they didnt see that if AME find 500k ounces gold at Kossanto they pay a final consideration based on a share price of 36p per share. 12 x the current price.

Maybe a few more people will realise how many times this might go up in the coming months.
