12/11/2012 11:00 | Aim is a bit of a killing ground at the minute ,but it will turn. Those that can hang on will make a lot of money.18months funded here...good rns that has totally been ignored..good team..good investors..great prospective area..cash in hand ..one wonders what a company has to do to maintain it`s shareprice on aim these days.Definite BUY for me. | sparty1
11/11/2012 22:17 | Please don't go up any more just yet havnt got all I want yet :) | daveandlaura
11/11/2012 21:37 | Even if they find a small resource I.e. worth 30 million that is still 15 times today's price. Obviously that is a bit simplistic because one would have to deduct the costs of getting it up and running but puts the impact of a strike into perspective and how those warrant strikes might turn out to be conservative. Hopefully anyway! | broncowarrior
11/11/2012 15:42 | Bronco, I appreciate that, but my point was specifically that the life of the warrants was extended for a further two years yet the strike price was maintained at 12.5p. Thats what impressed me as the norm is to let them expire or reduce the price. Had this not have been agreed then the warrants would now be worthless and further funding arrangements would have had to be set up in future with some uncertainty as to price. So another two years life yet in the warrants, enough time i think for the price to recover. | drchowdrey1960
10/11/2012 10:53 | People obviously won't exercise the warrants until they are above 12.5p. With so few shares in issue, once a definitive resource is confirmed the price should shoot up quickly. Warrant holders obviously still believe 12.5p is achievable in the near to medium term. | broncowarrior
09/11/2012 16:39 | am i reading it right that the 12.5p warrant situation extension means they wont come back to market for cash?? if so its very compelling. @theminingmaven: African Mining & Exploration (LON:AME)Value Proposition Report just out. MCAP just over cash at bank. We hold shares. | drchowdrey1960
09/11/2012 14:04 | A good distance to travel to get back to the 20p plus of 2011 then | idontpost
09/11/2012 13:55 | Just read the article, really good. Shame they didn't have a stab at a target price but I suppose it is difficult at this stage. | broncowarrior
09/11/2012 13:41 | Agreed, at this level there is a lot of moneny to be made down the line in my opinion. They are likely to have to dilute or farm-in to get a mine up and running but I get the feeling management know what they are doing here and they will do it in a way that is best for shareholders. | broncowarrior
09/11/2012 13:34 | To say this is off the radar at the moment is understating things. Market capitalisation only slightly above cash despite holding some of the best gold licences I have seen at this stage of development. That check assay rns was very important even though the market has missed the significance. | idontpost
09/11/2012 11:04 | This out last night in Canada. @theminingmaven: African Mining & Exploration (LON:AME)Value Proposition Report just out. MCAP just over cash at bank. We hold shares. | commie bstard
09/11/2012 09:41 | Surprised that AME is still at this level, especially after the news on Monday. But the PM sector as a whole is a bit shagged at the moment, which is no doubt a key issue. AME had cash at end september of £2.3mill, now probably about £2.2mill, enough for nearly 2 years at current burn rates. Market capitalisation is 84mill shares x 3.125p £2.6mill. So enterprise value at the moment is about £0.4mill. See how the AIM market works, from rampant overvalued stocks to shocking undervaluations. Personally I am buying these shares at this level. Have bought another 150,000 this morning and will continue. The news earlier in the week was obviously good, they will have a jorc resource soon I believe and I also think it will be substantial. Market capitalisation £2.6mill ha! | idontpost
05/11/2012 10:38 | ..poor response from the market so far (IMHO)... | haff1
05/11/2012 08:50 | African Mining CEO Mark Jones said, "The confirmation of grade and intercepts at Kossanto, including a peak result of 29.2 g/t Au at the shallow depth of 16m, reinforces our view that the licence area warrants significant further investment. The strong correlation between the check-assays and the existing data on the three target areas of Gourbassi East, Gourbassi West and Massakama, will greatly assist us in the drill planning process and ensure we maximise the value of our in ground investment. With a strong cash position, an imminent drill programme at Kossanto and additional opportunities in the pipeline, I look forward to updating shareholders on developments as we continue to build a West African focussed gold exploration and development company." Excellent and money saving priorities very welcome.. | sparty1
05/11/2012 08:39 | drewz Yes been waiting to add and waiting for that rns..If we could only get the volume that the likes of noventa get the share squeeze would be spectacular.. | sparty1
05/11/2012 08:16 | Take a look at CGNR at 1.35p 1m+ ounces JORC gold resource, could be up to 20m ounces. Broker has a 9.6p target. Max you can buy is 185k = £2.5k worth currently. I have started a thread for them as they are silly cheap capped at just £3.5m, when other gold co's listed on AIM have no JORC resource and are capped at multiples of CGNR. | christianf12
05/11/2012 08:15 | If we get any volume today could be some fireworks ..I cant see PRAE flogging any shares and with so few out there..the ever improving grade situation could attract some big buyers.. Question is ,can a big buyer get an order filled? :) There is a lot to like about this company ,particularly the way it is building a resource using small amounts of cash.. :) | sparty1
05/11/2012 08:09 | You got a good price, sparty. | drewz
05/11/2012 08:02 | Excellent news... Moving towards the excellent investment it was shaping up to be... Bought another 50K this morning | sparty1
05/11/2012 07:20 | Nice grades - the first inklings of some decent value being unlocked here: | drewz
31/10/2012 13:39 | Wouldn't worry Sparty - this should pick up beginning of next year as people anticipate first strike. Just going to be general drift until then in my view. Any sort of decent resource should take this past 10p given number of shares IMO. Let's not forget it was once 20p with no strike and half the number of permits they have today. | broncowarrior
30/10/2012 11:45 | back to 3.5....it`s like nothing happened...! | sparty1 |
