25/8/2010 14:07 | good stuff ... hopefully (if it includes some good recent updates) | 1144523
25/8/2010 13:38 | email response re news. You should be receiving the annual report for the 15 months to 31 march 2010 shortly (posting by mail and to the web site on 26 August). The AGM will be here at our offices on 24 September. Interim results for the half year to 30 September 2010 should be in December. | devil20
23/8/2010 19:00 | Yes. Must be some news soon... even if bad (hope not like) In from 8p but reckon this will come good. | 1144523
23/8/2010 18:53 | Yep and another 200k buy at the death. Lets hope we have hit the bottom and ready for a steady climb out of single figures. | ted1806
23/8/2010 18:32 | bid price up to 4, good times | 1144523
19/8/2010 17:25 | Fair old buy this afternoon of 220k. £8k worth, a lot for this. | devil20
18/8/2010 12:13 | 9.7% up. 82.2% of shares not in public hands, so fairly tightly held. Must be some other biggish holders other than the two mentioned on the website. Let's hope there's not too much selling on the rise. | devil20
18/8/2010 08:04 | They've had a fair few problems this past year, rainy season/broken machinery, but seem to be getting things in order as they go. At least they're making a profit and keeping their head above water. Bit of luck we may get another update soon. Forgot to add that in these circumstances peeps get bored and sell out, money better used elsewhere. | devil20
18/8/2010 07:42 | Nothing to talk about at the moment re rns's. I wonder what ZCI's intentions are here? Some people have speculated that they buy the minority shareholders out. | 1144523
18/8/2010 07:24 | wow - so quiet on ACU forum...... usually a good sign to buy once all the talk has died down. | anusol
09/8/2010 08:39 | Cu prices looking strong buy ACU looking weak. Surely time to see some uplift here and get back some of my losses. | harrodsfree
29/7/2010 12:54 | Even though over 7000 now, I am still very bullish copper, thats why im interested here... | thehoops16
28/7/2010 17:55 | You can see the drop in 2008. We just don't seem to catch up. | devil20
28/7/2010 17:22 | Because that's what the Co produce. The share price went down with the copper price and hasn't recovered yet. | devil20
28/7/2010 12:52 | How exactly does the price of copper affect this share price? If copper is strong will thie share benefit? | thehoops16
21/7/2010 16:34 | Good to see some recovery in Cu price | harrodsfree
12/7/2010 13:48 | Very steady falls. Obviously the balance of opinion on the recent RNS is rather negative. Will there be an end in sight for this continual downward trend? Medium term might look good, but if the medium term lift only makes up for the recent downturn then I'm going nowhere fast! | harrodsfree
06/7/2010 13:37 | I'm back in for a small amount. Just bought 35k at 3.85p. Absolute bargain!! | bw64402
06/7/2010 12:25 | As you say feethak2 a copper shortage is predicted I hold these and FML as well as KAZ for exposure to copper. | jpsmithson
05/7/2010 22:41 | Outsourcer, Having been very busy I have just had the chance to have a quick read through the results. It seems they are getting all the pieces of the jigsaw in place, to run ACU on a more professional basis. On what I have read I stand by everything I have written about ACU. As costs come down and production goes up I see no reason why ACU couldn't be making £20m profit a year with the next 12 to 24 months. Though I expect them to increase production significantly from now on in. "The Company does not believe that the operating results for this period of production are at all indicative of those it will achieve over time, after implementing the solutions currently in progress" The above statement hits the nail on the head, costs will tumble and production will increase substantially. Just for the record, My £10m to £20m per year prediction does not include Thakuda or any further discoveries. In my opinion this is a fantastic investment oppertunity, just going to require a little patience, my prediction of 20p may look conservative in a couple of years time. The only thing we need to watch is the price of copper, though I think it will be very strong from next year onwards when there is expected to be a shortfall in production. If this proves to be correct copper prices could soar. I am invested here, and happy to forget about it, I check in every now and then, but am relaxed about my investment and expect a very good return AIMHO GLA | feethak2
30/6/2010 19:50 | Outsourcer, Been out all day, will probably get a chance a the weekend to go over it, not even looked at it yet, so couldn't comment. | feethak2
30/6/2010 09:57 | Well, that's all a bit of a mouthfull. It'll need an expert/accountant to pick over it. From my quick read it seems steady progress is ongoing with things on the general up. Whether it'll set the share price alight seems doubtful. But it may make gradual steady progress. Best I can do I'm afraid. | devil20
30/6/2010 09:05 | feethak - what do you think of the results ? I am bitterly disappointed that despite the profits the share price hasn't moved and it appears we are still waiting for something to happen | outsourcer |
