06/11/2014 17:35 | BZ, insider dealing is obvious in how the share price went just a few days before the price was set at 10p . Cost me dear . After the considerable dilution i dont see I will ever get the £££ I feel bitter resentment to the management for setting up this deal , so detrimental to us PIs . | broshm
05/11/2014 17:57 | There really doesn't seem to be any point does there? AFC is run like a private company. | hereford29
05/11/2014 17:20 | Hol....I agree...If your going to the open day H29, ask them why we have had no data out of the trials in Bitten Germany, (akzonobel) which has been running for over 2 years now. Hol...I thought this was the testing ground for a commercial product, wasn't this the low hanging fruit, gone a bit moldy don't think?. | beeezzz
05/11/2014 11:46 | Don't waste your time with Gene Lewis- he has nothing to do with the commercial side of the company. He knows a great deal about the technical aspects of fuels cells as a back room boy but has no experience running a commercial organisation. Sadly his share holding doesn't say a great deal about his confidence. We need to know how many staff AFC employs and how many are needed for the power up project. Nothing else matters at this stage IMO. As I have said before conferences trips to the US and Korea should wait until we have a commercial product. | holism
04/11/2014 15:32 | Isn't this a different company? | hereford29
04/11/2014 15:04 | Just started a new PHE thread: Their upscaled Munich waste treatment plant will demonstrate larger scale production of gas from any organic waste, for electricity generation (using AFC's fuel cells) and gas production. The process is said to be cleaner than any other and up to 97% energy recovery efficient. Market Cap only £5m but targeting sales over $1 billion. (See also Part 2 of the AFC thread heading, above). | new tech
04/11/2014 09:15 | Thanks, I did check him now on LinkedIn. He appears to be a very smart man with a strong academic and research track record. I will try to think of a sensible question to ask him. But even if the technology is be the best available and the most cost efficient solution, as long as the leadership of the company lacks a sense of urgency and direction, the market will not accept its commercial proposition. | hereford29
03/11/2014 22:02 | I should have said Dr Gene Lewis....personally I would go you will learn a great deal about the company and make a more informed decision regarding your future prospects. | beeezzz
03/11/2014 17:49 | who is mr lewis? | hereford29
03/11/2014 17:30 | h29....I suggest you attend the Open day on 26/11/14 and put your concerns to Mr Lewis. | beeezzz
03/11/2014 15:12 | You think so? He is Roman's friend, so it is a control issue. | hereford29
03/11/2014 14:51 | Vote of confidence by those that know . £180,000 worth (none to shabby) . Great stock with huge potential . See you after the next RNS | ride the wave
03/11/2014 11:24 | Has Roman bought more? | leedsu36
01/11/2014 18:17 | Hope you are wrong R16 , unfortunatly your logic looks plausable . Have to keep close watch so not to loose even more . | broshm
31/10/2014 22:30 | Exactly...... | beeezzz
31/10/2014 20:31 | I don't get the logic here. AFC tried to raise £9m and they got £6m; which means they need another funding round in one year. There's no product or sales and probably wont be anything to sell in a years time. So why buy shares at 9p today when you can get them for 3p in one years time. Discuss | rocha16
31/10/2014 12:07 | That's why the management didn't subscribe. They paid what, £5,000 each? Which they paid for out of their salaries, which are far too high because they are not doing their job properly, and their salaries are being funded by this very placement! | hereford29
31/10/2014 11:57 | The problem is they will receive less money from Lanstead due to share price being below 13.33p, which may not be problem they shouldn't need anymore funds until 2015 due to the £330k already received. Extra 30 million shares added plus those not taken up in the OO, share price will continue to drop until somebody is willing to buy. | beeezzz |
