I imagine there must be lots of Tea being drunken in the AFC factory.
Nothing seems to be coming out production wise.
I was just trying to understand why AFC raised such a paltry amount several months ago(@£14M).
That would never carry the business through to breakeven point in 2-3 years time.
My assumption is that was an amount that AB thought he could get away with asking for, and looked positive to the markets.
In reality he still got fired anyway, so he may well have asked for more money in hindsight.
The whole business is a cluster F.

Super, my experience of JVs is that there is usually a management agreement (even in a 50/50 JV) giving management authority to one of the partners, and for which that managing partner receives a management fee. But I don't know if that's the case here.

OK, sorry - wrong end of the stick - I'm sure you'll understand I don't watch this very closely... When I saw the article originally in The Economist, I thought it was a PHE rival (triggered by 'hydrogen from pyrolysis') but managed to work out that it wasn't and jumped to a different but still wrong conclusion :¬(

You do like some odd shares. I hope you have some winners in your portfolio.

Anyway, nobody answered my previous question on margin on sales through the JV. Any idea? I perhaps should say that I'm dead against these 50:50 JVs - who has authority and who responsibility? They always seem like a great way for the weaker partner to avoid the difficulties of ownership for the (not so) modest cost of half the profit.

No super, it's not the same. This process is creating hydrogen out of methane. AFC's cracker is for producing hydrogen out of ammonia. And the reason that is important is because ammonia is likely to become the main carrier and storage agent for hydrogen.

Not cheap though between £400 a £650 per week.
