11/4/2023 21:27 | Both short and long term trends looking good, still rolling along, with a lot more upside potential (27p would be +31% to hit the top of the long term trend line) for short term buyers, vs bog all downside due to the strong support at these intraday levels. | haggismchaggis
09/4/2023 23:13 | ABB will be loving this! "EPA reportedly planning to announce significant limits on tailpipe emissions to boost electric vehicle adoption" PUBLISHED SAT, APR 8 KEY POINTS The Environmental Protection Agency is reportedly preparing to announce significant limits on tailpipe emissions this week. The new limits would require as much as 67% of new vehicles sold in the U.S. by 2032 to be all-electric cars. EPA Administrator Michael Regan is expected to make the announcement in Detroit on Wednesday. The proposed limits would be the U.S.′ most aggressive climate regulations to date, and they would create a host of challenges for automakers. Under the proposed limits, electric cars will represent between 54% and 60% of new cars sold in the U.S. by 2030, and between 64% to 67% of new cars by 2032, the Times report said. These figures are ambitious, as just 5.8% of cars sold in 2022 were electric, up from 3.2% in 2021, according to a report by Cox Automotive. These limits would also surpass President Joe Biden’s previous goal to have all-electric cars make up around 50% of cars sold by 2030. | haggismchaggis

05/4/2023 15:50 | MAN EV trucks. Megawatt charging in many places just isn't going to be possible, especially for a truck fleet with multiple vehicles, unless of course they have something like an Ammonia fed AFC Charger there.."German commercial vehicle manufacturer MAN has shown off a new electric truck prototype that it says will feature megawatt charging and a range of up to 800km."."MAN describes the prototype, which is intended to be launched in 2024, as a "trailblazing electric commercial vehicle", largely thanks to its capacity for future megawatt charging.".hTTps://t | haggismchaggis

04/4/2023 22:07 | Here is one ABB link up that could turn into something material for AFC from numerous directions. It also might possibly explain why the 100kW S+ was tested independently by IAV rather than at ABB's EV factory in Italy. . 1 February 2023. "Porsche Automobil Holding SE (“Porsche SE”), Stuttgart, has invested a double-digit million euro amount in ABB E-mobility Holding AG, Baden, Switzerland, in a private placement." . . Porsche would certainly be made aware of the AFC Fuel Cell deal as part of the prospectus and quite likely a presentation from ABB E-Mobility to Porsche, and examined in detail during due diligence by Porsche prior to their investment (as would all investments by ABB E-Mobility). This would be the case because ABB E-Mobility already owned shares in AFC prior to Porsche investing in ABB. . 16 April 2021 "a subscription of 5,038,760 New Ordinary Shares by the ABB group" . This of course is not 'just' Porsche we are talking about: . "Porsche Automobil Holding SE, usually shortened to Porsche SE is a German multinational corporation primarily known as a holding company of Volkswagen Group with investments in the automotive industry." . "As of 2019, the 31.3% stake in Volkswagen AG is the predominant investment by Porsche SE, and Volkswagen AG in turn controls brands and companies such as Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Škoda, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche AG, Ducati, VW Commercial Vehicles, Scania, MAN, as well as Volkswagen Financial Services. Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, as a 100% subsidiary of Volkswagen AG, is responsible for the actual production and manufacture of the Porsche automobile line." . And, of course, as I posted a few days ago, VW AG is a 50% owner of IAV, with VW also the biggest IAV key client, Porsche and the other brands are listed as clients of IAV. VW HQ is at Wolfsburg, 18km from the IAV Fuel Cell Test Bench at Gifhorn. . . . | haggismchaggis

04/4/2023 12:21 | I agree that to announce the AGM before audited accounts are out is not good and not clear to me why events that happened last week should alter the accounts to the end of last October. Their decision to have their AGM at 9am in a not terribly accessible place suggests they want to avoid contact with private shareholders and deters me from buying more. | cerrito
