I've seen this far too often during my 20 odd years of share dealing.
I have a rule to sell at least half if I see 20 to 30% increase
I was late yesterday so had to settle for just under 40% increase.
Undecided whether to top again,

Well something is making them dump. Maybe we will have an rns in the morning to clear it one way or the other. Took a few of the table myself, just in case as don't want to be stuck here more than a year again like last time when we hit 80+.

Price could also be falsely moving lower to drag in some mug shorters like Hugo..

As your handle suggests, those prices will do grievous bodily harm.

I can currently get a live quote to sell up to 500,000 shares (it does not go to negotiated trade) which tells me that there is plenty of demand out there for AFC shares.

Volume total of about 20m from 3/2 to yesterday. 0.5% is only 3.67m.

Skinny,.That is all they needed to report and was declared on 3/2/2023, but all the frantic buying of way over the 0.5% in volume tells me they are out now and likely gone long at the same time.

haggis - there is a 'short' link in the header - haven't they just reduced to 0.49% - below the notifiable threshold.

Brontë have finally closed their 0.5% short that's been sat with no profit taking since March 2022 (as can be seen in the history tab of the FCA spreadsheet). I take it they picked up a load of cheap stock from PI's over the past 11 months while they held the price down..Maybe someone took my advice this morning to ring them and ask if they've closed it, having missed the bottom at 18p more than once LOL!.The shackles are off now, the coiled spring is free to go up and up!!.hTTps://www.fca.org.uk/publication/data/short-positions-daily-update.xlsx.

Haggis, not sure if that was aimed at myself, however AFC has been a very frustrating company to hold shares in, so i admit since selling at a significant loss a few months back, i have been buying in low and selling high a few times to makes some of the losses back.

I do believe AFC are a good company and will one day come good, but they have struggled to replicate that in the current share price

I am back in and waiting to see if the share price starts a sustained move up.

Just listen to those short term traders with their short term, small profit, don't give a toss about this stock attitudes LOL!!!.They need to convince everyone to do what they do, at the same time as they do it, just so they can make a minuscule profit on each trade..IF ONLY THEY KNEW what the future holds for AFC with it's low CAPEX low OPEX Fuel Cells, alongside huge clients such as ABB, Acciona, Mace, Keltbray, Ricardo, Vard, etc, in markets for off grid emissions free power generation to supplement the grid and to help replace millions of diesel gensets..I't seems they are clueless about AFC, all they know anything about is the price they want to buy back in at and the price they want to sell again at..Don't be brainwashed into thinking like they do or following their 'take profit' mantras, wise up on AFC instead.
