@Babbler, Don’t expect too much from Thursday, remember the questions will be screened before hand and not all read out verbatim. Questions can be manipulated, it’s not like a face to face Q&A. Let’s wait for the AGM for that one, when we’ll actually get to see them squirm as they attempt to defend their abysmal performance and generous remuneration. |
@1347, I hear you brother. This company only exists to serve the BOD. I have given up any hope of seeing any value from this company. Believe it or not there is still one poster under several aliases that continues to defend this company’s performance. Clearly out of touch with reality. |
Why not put that across to the company on Thurs when they are presenting to PIs via investor meet. Can ask questions before the meeting. |
Hopeless, just another jam tomorrow AIM company. They put more effort into re-arranging the directors on deck and grafting themselves freebie options and shares than they do getting orders. How long before shareholders see any value here, another 5 years, 10, 20? |
A better written and more palatable RNS would have linked the shares to companies performance. eg. 2026, 25% of the shares granted IF the share price is above 50p 2027, 25% of the shares granted IF the share price is above £1.
As it is there is ZERO incentive for the BOD to increase share price value. AFC and their BOD continue to shaft and dissapoint shareholders. |
I’m speechless for a change. The absolute arrogance of the BOD. |
Lets hope with more options comes more results, GLA |
Thanks Derek |
Let’s all be quiet and AFC might actually make something the markets want at a price point it will buy at. And in the meantime the £1.1M that is being burned monthly just might not happen. You really are living in cookcoo land. Face reality the cash is being burned fast, a raise will be required in the next couple of months. I have asked the question in next week’s Q&A let’s see if we get an honest and sensible answer. |
I hope so Kingston. Let's see what they have to say on Thursday. It's either going to be mind-blowing or disappointing! Brace yourselves! |
AFC is one of top ten companies to watch for 2025. |
Zero Credibilty Yellow. The only person talking about an upcoming fund raise is you. That is because you are trying to scaremonger and spew yet more desperate negativity. You are trying to keep the share price as low as possible for your own gain in my view. Others may do the same but have the good courtesy not to pepper this chat area with incessant ramblings.Long term holders are still holders for good reason. They are confident that a sharp rise in the share price is going to happen. Me included. Please pipe down and spend less time on here. There is a life out there. You have made your views well known |
![](https://images.advfn.com/static/default-user.png) In addition, the last cash raise was supposed to be for production scale up.
Reasons for the Proposed Fundraising and Use of Proceeds
AFC Energy is in a growth phase and looking to continue to scale up its manufacturing capabilities to meet increased demand for its unique hydrogen fuel cells. The net proceeds of the Placing and Subscription will be utilised to capitalise on the Company's existing commercial routes to market for its H-Power generators (specifically the roll out of initial orders from Speedy Hydrogen Solutions and, when placed, orders from TAMGO) and to support commercial development.
Use of proceeds:
· Investment in H-Power 30kW generators - rollout of initial Speedy Hydrogen Solutions' orders and, when placed, TAMGO orders;
· Investment in production equipment to support manufacturing scale up;
· Investment in Speedy Hire Joint Venture (Speedy Hydrogen Solutions); and
· Commercial development and corporate overheads.
Any proceeds from the REX Retail Offer will be used for general corporate purposes.
It won’t go down well with investors to poney up more cash for the same purpose. Basic math, £13M raised. £4M in revenue, which includes some government grants.
It doesn’t make financial sense to keep funding this company on the above basis. |
@beezzz, Holding onto hope there buddy. It was established during the SH recent alternative fuels/tech update. H2 is too expensive to roll out at scale on construction sites in UK. In areas where H2 could be potentially cheap, Middle East. AFC have been trying to sell FC generators through one of the strongest brand companies in that region and have sold 1 unit for demonstration in 4 years. Where do you expect orders to come from?. |
Right beeezzz! |
Agreed, major order contract signed will give them impetus they need to raise more money if needed...
Let's wait and see what new CEO has to say..... |
Thy won't need a raise to keep the lights on because they've got cash and no debt.
Clearly they will need funds if they are to ramp up production to fill orders, and we all hope that is what will be required, but in that case they should be able to borrow a substantial chunk of the funds required with the balance in equity and hence minimal dilution. |
Don't agree with yellow much, but definitely right on the who is gonna pay 15p after the last rise. Cash raise might be soon, but doing it without incentive other than we ain't got any money please sir, cough up is gonna fall on deaf or very very stupid ears. . |
Spoken like a true positive shareholder! Ha ha! |
Wow really 15p. That's the price of the last cash raise. I don't think we will find new investors willing to pay anywhere near that for the next cash raise, which btw is imminent. |
Adding at these levels... CEO presentation in a few days with expected great news flow.
Breakout Expected.... |
Every day, the share price will move towards 15 p. |
Every day, we get closer to the next cash rise. |
