28/7/2015 09:51 | Nice buys effectively zero pence per share | ramas
28/7/2015 09:21 | LOL BH2,No wonder you say you will leave the BB. No you did not and you are a Liar. I will retract that and apologize if you forward me a copy of your contract note by private e-mail. However, I know you will be unable to do so, you will require another name to post under I guess. | clocktower
28/7/2015 09:19 | Stay with us BH , best not to declare any buys or sells anyway and just use the board for discussion , we must all filter what we read here anyway everyone has an agenda , apart from me of course lol | ramas
28/7/2015 09:04 | I am not a liar at all. I did buy them and am being quoted exactly the same price to buy the same right now or is that a lie to?.. Why are these boards like this...I will leave it there. As I said small investor learning with no agenda. Leave the board to you CT. Enjoy.. its been interesting. GL all with AEO. | bearhug2
28/7/2015 08:50 | BH2, I did not mean to have a pop at you but I dislike Liars and those 2000 shares that you said you bought, that went though the market at around the time you say yesterday were not a buy that you made. | clocktower
28/7/2015 08:44 | wskill, there are very few holders that have more than 3% but there might be a good few that are just below the mark and like BH2 are trading the share or reducing their holdings for one reason or another, or just looking to cash in profits but since the stock reached 37/38 there clearly has been a seller if you study the trades. Although volume is very low there has been a drip feed of sales while buys have failed to outnumber these in general, expect for the odd day here and there. Still, as long as they continue to pay a decent dividend this is far better than money in the bank and with great prospects of share price growth to top it all. As you say though it will take time to be re-rated once certainty is established for dividend seekers. | clocktower
28/7/2015 08:26 | We have had 3 years of profits now I am sure our management team are first class, it takes time for AIM shares to gather momentum especially with the amount of shorts infesting the market now don't think we have a seller otherwise there would have been a holdings RNS out by now only a few shorts at work. | wskill
28/7/2015 07:51 | So which was your buy yesterday BearHug2? I would put money on it that you will not identify the purchase you say you made. There has been more stock released when RTI sold the bulk of their 3% stake. The price is far from volatile and has really only moved on news. I assume you are saying you trade the stock and have managed to achieve an average of 40%. Well no news so far today, will we see any this week even? If the last TS did not stand up they would be party to providing misleading information to assist a director to sell stock, and an almost 3% holding at that, so I do not think that there is any chance of that. | clocktower
28/7/2015 06:46 | Due to the refurb and new website this weekend is a good time for a handover from the builders and avant-garde decorators (the one's who wear cravats). So maybe next Monday is a good time for the T/S Just a guess, | old thumper
27/7/2015 20:59 | I agree CT with the seller..Its been that way for a while..It starts to gain traction then gets battered down time after time... I have this stock as part of my pension side of trading 55K shares at 40pc average at the mo and will ontinue adding at these levels (I bought again today) I think its a great prospect and love the divi given its AIM (One of only 2 in my pension pot} I just hope to the man upstairs that the TS holds up on what they have previously stated earnings wise..If not I fear we are going down but seeing the office stuff and website plus the job vacancies why would it be negative? I stall be up early tomorrow sitting at a desk with a stiff drink at the side (Just in case) Haha... I would personally they released some stock to stop this tight hold on the share price .it causes massive drops and rises which isn't good for investors...Traders dream...Hence why invetors stay away..Its too volatile.. GL All | bearhug2
27/7/2015 17:05 | It still seems to be viewed by potential investors as a glass half empty stock roll on trading statement .... | ramas
27/7/2015 16:07 | There is a persistent seller that seems to be holding this back and until they are out the way or we get the TS it seems stuck in a hole no matter how big a bargain this is. | clocktower
27/7/2015 15:39 | At this price it even makes sense for AEO to buy in the market , of course I'd rather they didn't the float is tight enough as it is | ramas
27/7/2015 15:22 | Last years TS was on 28.07.14 so we may get it in the next day or so I guess. It seems that either the MM are after stock or someone is managing to pick a few up at less than ask. On-line 5k quote is still 35p but others may offer a better price. | clocktower
27/7/2015 10:07 | ramas, It seems that almost all interest has been lost in this stock but I guess they will soon issue a TS and based on what you have stated and is pretty clear anyway,in addition to the launch of the new website and other exciting planned events that must be part of the five year plan it seems the share price will breakout again at that point in time. In fact having seen a buy go through I thought I would check to see what could be bought in any volume, and the price being quoted is 35p at present. So if we see a few more buys I guess it will soon spike once again. I think this TS will be one of the most informative we have seen for some time because of the past twelve months events. As you say, £350k + profits + . | clocktower
26/7/2015 15:54 | Just another thought AEOs aim listing as a shell company has a value , I've seen £500k paid for other shells but let's say £250k then that's another 3p of hidden value. You are buying a proven debt free profitable business for effectively 3p at today's share price or NIL if we take the higher shell valuation , giving a bonkers pe of zero !!!!!! The markets has excessively discounted AEO based on its low earnings visibility and tight liquidity. Fears of delisting can be allayed given the inherent value of said listing. So to summarise - cash 17p + DT asset 10p + notional shell value 3p = 30p giving a net value of AEO by the market of 3p or £270k (todays shareprice of 33p) , expected profits for FY ending June of £350k dividend tbc hoping for 2p, - end of year statement is due in the near future If ever there was an example of how the market can misprice a business for some valid albeit overplayed risks then surely AEO is one of them - of course IMO and always DYOR | ramas
24/7/2015 09:29 | I guess the market will have to reassess if there is a dividend this year for the hat trick | ramas
24/7/2015 09:23 | Remember my earlier post cashing the DT asset worth about 28p so at this price the company is almost FREE , well 5p that's a PE of less than 2 with a solid history of profits and the last 2 years delivering dividends , this market places too much discount onto AEO , look at the awards customers want to use this company, oh well such is life all IMODYOR | ramas
24/7/2015 05:37 | BearHug2, Thanks for the reply, as far as I know Gary Fitzpatrick has retaken the CEO position (but that's my guess). As for the other positions I'm sure a quick Email to Gary will clarify as to whether the other positions have been filled, or just go onto site with a Kango, mix with the builders and listen to the office natter to see what's going on :-) | old thumper
23/7/2015 13:19 | O/T ive just checked back and I have to apologise as it doesn't state CEO but I think we all know that it was likely SG replacement..The job page is closed now but the below post was by C/T at the time, April I think. I think the close date was mid june if I recall rightly after looking at the spec on the site. Now looking for replacement for SG. www.cheerfulscout.co "As part of an ambitious five-year development plan, we are currently advertising for two positions - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR (Live Events) and TECHNICAL PRODUCER / PROJECT MANAGER (Live Events)" The job:hxxps://www.evco www.evcom.org.uk/job hxxps://www.evcom.or It would of been nice to have found out who they took on (If anyone). Once again sorry for the CEO bit | bearhug2
23/7/2015 12:41 | BearHug2, Where was this application for a new CEO deadline 2015? Perhaps you could point me to the article. | old thumper
23/7/2015 10:59 | Expect a bounce on news, just nerves of a few investors I guess. | clocktower
23/7/2015 10:32 | 47K trades so far..mmm at least he volume is picking up ha..I know Ramas im in Prem and watching a decent profit slowly going down even though they too are a decent operator.. | bearhug2
23/7/2015 10:26 | I think the bod are working to better communicate but we all know the issues with media earnings visibility in a small company arena plus of course AEO is somewhat illiquid at times .... Making it also liable to manipulation , maybe there is a buy order out there who knows ? More likely a PI wanting some cash for another sure fire winner , plenty of nil profit aims are being decimated currently | ramas |
