28/3/2006 13:12 | Frank appreciate the post back, I have no problems holding an Australian airline, as I had no problems holding Centamin Egypt... An Australian mining firm, listed in London, headquarters in Australia, mining in Egypt and no doubt if it ever mined any gold would receive its revenue in US$ the currency gold trades in... As for Perth in has an exclusive contact with the government of WA and hosts important business routes for major mining firms. And any firm in its infancy that has such a large turnover and is profitable and trades on a P/E of just 7.5, yes 7.5 that was shows a good business model, unlike numerous cash shells, exploration and drug research firms, . I'm sure many doubted the wisdom of Easyjet in its infancy. | bigdunc

"The continued resource boom in Western Australia also provides opportunities for developing our resource sector charter flight service provision." | knowing
28/3/2006 11:16 | Well whoever just bought the 100K seems to think that these are good value. | knowing
28/3/2006 08:49 | If you are comfortable owning an Australian airline that reports in singapore dollars that is listed in London that makes a profit of $100k on turnover of $50mln that is mainly reliant on people flying to Perth, go ahead. | frank spencer
28/3/2006 08:45 | Frank, dont want to get into a slagging match but how with the recent figures would you class this as over valued junk. | bigdunc
28/3/2006 00:12 | But those with highly profitable routes will make a fortune especially if oil prices drop. There have been many cases of new issues that have dropped on open only to rebound very strongly. You take your pick. Unless there is a sell which has not been shown then todays trading does not justify the share price. | knowing

27/3/2006 20:20 | ps Tin pot airlines are 10 a penny and the vast majority are loss making poor investments. | frank spencer
27/3/2006 20:18 | clive You may also not be aware that new issues that are popular open strong and stay strong. Those that fall into the category of overvalued junk open weak, get weaker and fold. | frank spencer |
