Interesting tosee Mr Pump and Dump is back - share price has been dropping back - Maybe Mr Market is more interested in the profit picture - rather than revenue - In the supposed words of the later Sir Jack Cohen "turnover is Vanity - Profit is sanity"

Trying decide if Pug is just de-ramping to niggle 247 or whether the cashflow situation will bite.

Either way the uptick in PR has me on guard - could just be the board trying to protect itself being vulnerable with the mcap so low and a fraction of revenue guidance. Don't share your view pug that profitability issue is intrinsic or sector-wide but clearly the share price could still go down from here.

No further comment - If we had not kept the retail volumes up you production boys would have had to sell crude in the market and the group would have lost margin.

ts:- You obviously cannot read - Retail side:: retail side - Forecourt development consumer sales traffic building. Same Company.

Amongst one of my many responsibilities was the productions of the corporate acrylic blocks containing the first oil from the Forties Field !! Before your time ?

I agree we may have nothing in common when analysing potential investment opportunities and all I can assume from your posts above is that your postings on this thread may have some of the attributes of a Pump and D operation.

If I am wrong in this respect I apologies in advance.

ts:- Even house broker is cautious- reduced target price by 44% in their last note.

I hope you are not suffering too much of a paper loss.

I tells it how I see it and at the moment there is virtually no evidence (I can see) that they can translate revenue into bottom line growth -

The increase in PR blurb sends its own message.

PS. fyi Years ago I used to work with the UK retail side of your old employer back in the days of major traffic building forecourt promotions. So we have something in common !!

tradingstock247. Interesting posts however message I receive given the massive increase in PR activity inc Proactive is that a discounted placing/rights issue may well be on the way to replenish working capital as part of a kitchen sinking by the new ceo.

Your thoughts ?

I was initially attracted here by the price to sales ratio but having reviewed the accounts management appear to be unable to turn revenue into bottom line profit. This unfortunately appears to be a sector problem rather than company specific so unless you disagee I suspect I will put on a back burner watch list.
