07/12/2017 08:09 | Boom! I'd pay 45 as it's going to rocket. | paul_98
07/12/2017 08:08 | Not paying 45p+ so good luck to others it looks really good. | dave4545
07/12/2017 08:05 | The mm's are pricing me out already. No online quote to buy so heading higher. Great if you hold but do you pay 40p if you do not ? | dave4545
07/12/2017 08:03 | Don't forget we also expect technological updates. Could be a double whammy of positive news pre Xmas?? They surely wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't on track! | paul_98
07/12/2017 07:58 | Paul_98, This is exactly what investing is, taking a calculated risk with the long term in mind. The risk/reward ratio here is good, yes there is a risk like all companies however the reward on the other side could be somthing spectacular.Would be nice to see a small steady rise from here. | adealsiddiq110
07/12/2017 07:54 | I'm delighted! Here we go | paul_98
07/12/2017 07:52 | john henry, It's nearly a 100% dilution! On the plus side the deal looks positive insofar as they are probably funded through to project completion now. | andy
07/12/2017 07:48 | Well I'm not an expert....but I would say that this is possibly a game changer financially. Sure there is dilution - but not death spiral dilution...if the company succeeds that dilution will be meaningless in the greater value of each share. But why didn't shareholders get a chance to bid with this wider knowledge too....? Small gripe in circumstances perhaps. And new partners in the huge market of China and FE. Still they face the challenge of getting the Tech working, and working quickly, but they still seem positive, and the science is their field of expertise and not obviously business planning! :( Can SPs maintain a "zero" target now? Surely wreckless to continue with that advice to punters? But will they accept that they may well be very wrong? Lets hope the management don't burn the money too quickly. And still a pity they haven't offered to take a Temp pay cut, otherwise in a sense they are taking part in a fundraising just to pay the money back to THEMSELVES! As I say I am no expert, but this looks very positive news. Be interested to see TW's take on it. | gerhart
07/12/2017 07:47 | Excellent news! Shows how well Avo are doing now | adealsiddiq110
07/12/2017 07:30 | Jestercat It is a FANTASTIC deal for shareholders. In essence financing should now be secured through to commercial launch at which point in time this company may well be worth hundreds of millions of pounds. This is a world class technology that will serve an enormous growth market - if you take time to consider the potential sales and profits that may come out of this, we may very well have a new ”unicorn” | baner
07/12/2017 07:27 | Jestercat2 explain huge amount of dilution ? Current BID 32p | john henry
07/12/2017 07:17 | That’s a huge amount of dilution | jestercat2
07/12/2017 07:13 | Excellent news for the company and shareholders. | john henry
05/12/2017 11:23 | glib, It sounded as though there was a lot of BB 'noise' re AVO, and I was just commenting that I wasn't aware of any. I did check the LSE madhouse, but there could be others I'm not aware of. GLTA | andy
05/12/2017 10:56 | I never thought the word "speculation" would be contentious. Andy, I was merely referring to the share price moving back up being potentially linked to investor confidence as a projected event nears. I haven't seen any discussions or other news sources relating to AVO. The only ones I am aware of are LSE and sometimes iii. Best of luck. | glibgibon
05/12/2017 10:09 | No problem. Eagerly awaiting news. | paul_98
05/12/2017 09:50 | paul, Ok so the "speculation" you referred to is your own? OK I get it now, you made it sound as though there were a lot of people speculating somewhere, and I just wondered because this thread is dead, and ADVFN is the busiest BB. Don't take it personally, this is a discussion board and people will hold opposing views, I'm just expressing an honest opinion. I will be happy to see you make money here. | andy
05/12/2017 09:24 | I've been here before with AVO. In the light of that experience the news I am expecting is that the development of LIGHT is on track as promised. My experience with AVO is that it is anyone's guess what that means. | daijavu
04/12/2017 23:43 | Andy could you possibly let AVO investors enjoy the up-turns when they happen? I have money here and want to see it do well. We = Investors. News is obviously due (overdue). | paul_98
04/12/2017 23:27 | It's all very mysterious, but there should have been news of funding by now. | shakyhands
04/12/2017 23:11 | paul, Who are "we"? Apart from glib, who is discussing it, and where? | andy
04/12/2017 20:09 | Of course there is speculation of news! We expect it and soon. | paul_98
04/12/2017 16:43 | glib, Well where is the speculation? Nobody here is posting anything, and ADVFN is the main share BB in the UK! The share price has risen 20 on NO speculation (unless you can point me to where the speculation is of course!) so my take is if they want to finance at 25p, they need the price higher in order to "discount it". | andy
04/12/2017 16:29 | If that testing is a success and announced then I wonder how high this might go. | paul_98 |
