Tamesis broker note "Rupice NW Drilling Reveals World Class nature of Silver Mine" raising price target to 250p

I note that Sanda Bates, non-exec, exercised 1m options at $1.25 and did not retain any. (Sold the "profit" portion at $1.91). Poor form not to retain any. Maybe she is leaving the company? At least the chairman retained some after selling to pay tax.I see Cronin has stated that no more options will be issued to non-execs again. Probably a bit miffed that Sandra exercised and sold all. Don't blame him if he is. If you are "awarded" something for FREE like options it shows disrespect and lack of confidence in the company if you exercise and sell them all, particularly at the low price of $1.91. What are investors going to think? I'm disappointed in her actions.

New Corporate presentation available on website. Still on schedule for 1st prod in Q2 2023.Had a quick look back at DFS to determine how prices of metals affected the economics of the project.DFS Figures$25/oz Silver, $3000/t Zn = NPV $1062m, IRR 134%Sensitivity analysisAt $15/oz Silver = NPV $823m, IRR 109%At $2600/t Zn = NPV $991m, IRR 128%Economics are still very robust at lower metal prices. Current AUS share price of 1.73 (GBP 1.00) seems very low given the robustness of the economics and given that Orion were prepared to pay AUS 2.80 to help finance the project to production. I'm happy to top up at 1.73c. This is a LT hold for me. share price should move up slowly as it nears production assuming metal prices hold.

Good to see UBS accumulating shares. Now over 10% holding. Had 7.65% in April 22, so quite a sizable jump. Share price at under 2 AUD is well below the 2.8 AUD financing price. No wonder they are accumulating at this price if they believe, as I do, that the "story" is still intact. Imho its just a matter of time before share price starts trickling up again. Obviously silver and base metals are under pressure due to the expected recession; but this is a long term mine that will still be around through the next couple of economic cycles.

Can't see any reason for drop in share price well below 2.0AUD, albeit on very low volume. Building of mine still on schedule and price of AG,ZN still holding up ok. Top up time? POB, you heard anything?

When the silver price takes off this is going to look very cheap. I'm wondering if the majors are going to be running the rule over this. I seem to remember Rick Rule saying it was a good takeover candidate.

Very very thin market suggests to me the market is well short of stock...

MMs easing the price down to try and get stock onboard, but nobody is really selling...

Its just taken me 5 'Market Size' transactions to buy £20,000 worth...

But here is the irony...I had a Fill or Kill for HALF that amount fail at 123 (best price 123.2) but I've just bought double that at 121.49 in smaller trades. Yes I know about dealing charges but II is only £7.99 a trade so £32 extra to save £260...nuts!

VERY happy to hold these long term now...silver play...Brokers target 265p...could this be another ATYM? (A year pre production 80p...now over 400p)

I am new to this one having just invested and not as knowledgeable as you but from what I see:-

- Discount on placing shares wasnt that steep considering recent rise in the share price
- There is no chance that the company has not already tested the resolve of institutions to buy into the company
- Retail investors locked out to make sure this goes through as quickly as possible
- LIBOR +7.5% is give or take 7.5% which isnt excessive but I think the repayment term may have been extended?
- Must be institutional demand for shares including private sales

Whether or not the payback period has been extended this is still a very short payback term. They seem to have the politicians onside which is useful.

If this is such a bad deal then you should be able to buy in yourself at sub the placement price? Or do you not expect that level of weakness? Personally I would see that as a floor, hence the reason I bought in. The margin for those looking to sell and buy back in the placing is borderline now.

Very disappointing and expensive financing deal after Cronin promised great rates and no equity dilution!- secured loan over 4 1/2 years with interest accruing at LIBOR +7.5% after which the repayment is over 10 quarterly instalments. This does not make sense when payback is under two years- committing to a LOM copper metal stream does not make sense as this method of financing is extremely expensive compared to paying back an equivalent loan from CF- equity financing for approx. 40% of the funding at a substantial discount to current price and then not including retail investors goes against all that Cronin has been promising over the last year in nearly every presentation. Shareholders shafted again.I see Sandfire bailed at Aus$2.80. Very surprised they accepted such a low figure when Cronin has been constantly pointing out how undervalued the shares are and basically intimating a AUS$4.0 share price.I think we're going to see some serious share price volatility over next number of months. A lot will depend on any movement in the silver price.

Hannam's comments TP £2.91

"...Vareš financing is the key near term catalyst
With the Vareš DFS completed and the project fully permitted for production,
the next key step is construction financing. This has the potential to act as a
catalyst for a share price re-rating as equity dilution risks are reduced. In
addition, a further share price catalyst could come as a result of positive news from the drilling and metallurgical testing programs at Kizevak in Serbia."
