Morning all. Still holding long and strong. Split holding. Two thirds to hold, one third to trade. Follow the Directors with the trading batch.

try not to believe in conspiracy theories, but this seems to have been happening most days and then we get a number of Director RNSs of share purchases....

Sweet and Tender Hooligan, Hooligan, he'll never ever do it again, of course he won't, not until the next time..

Poor old man strangled in her very own bed as she read, but that's ok, cos she was old and would have died anyway

Looking at this for the first time. Why such a large drop? Must be something I am missing

This is undoubtedly a good company. One thing that I have never quite understood though is how they get such a high return on capital (in a commodity insurance area) versus other insurance companies. The valuation is still c10 times book value versus a maximum of about 1.2 times for a typical insurance company. Could someone explain to me the difference in their business model? Many thanks.

Just brought in at just above £8 as think that there may be problems but may re bound in the short term. Like G4S which I know was different but it did re bound

If the underwriting and claims ratios now move to the market average,
where does that leave profitability?.
