Well done...I work for Admiral and had mine at £2.75 a day or so before they floated. They hit £2.84 in the first minute or so and have done very well for me ever since.

Have a good Xmas.

New highs would be around £12. At the moment we're playing catchup from April.

Thanks for the reply, yes you have the right couple.

I knew a few people up in IT - I think Helpdesk had a button with my name on :)

Appreciate not wanting to give name - Initials maybe???

I agree with Sat,

This will fall back, sooner rather than later now its in the FTSE. As I've always said, this is a long term investment so any short term spikes need to be taken advantage of.

My personal view is that you will get an entry point well below £10 in the coming weeks. I would hang on till then if I were you. Hopefully Graham would have sold out by then - I would hate to see him sitting on a paper loss. :-)

Yes, if I recognise the surname correctly, you used to work in claims, and your other half used to work there too....unfortunatly, I'm still there!
Not willing to post my name, but I work in the IT department. ;-)

Goodluck with your investments.

I used to work at Admiral and cashed in my shares some time back.

I am interested in getting back in.

At close of play yesterday they were listed at £10.91

If it is confirmed that they will be admitted to the FTSE 100 on December 22nd, what are the expectations?

This insco is a long term success story and the story has a very long way to go....

The FTSE 100 constituent list is set to undergo the biggest upheaval for six years in the quarterly reshuffle next week, due to volatility in the market.
The eight companies that look most likely to be promoted to the FTSE 100 are
Firstgroup, TUI, Cairn Energy, Kelda, G4S, Burberry Group, Admiral Group and
Thomas Cook.

excellent
