Resist the temptation to follow into ADA on the current rise to 8p.

The rise may well be because of the great performance of their recently acquired holding in C4XD, which gives them a carried paper profit of c£1million.

However - look under the bonnet at their other holdings and their performance since the 30th Sept'20 Interims:

# CIR - largest holding - N/C
# DNL - N/C
# DDDD - Down 30%
# TALK - Up 20%
# GFM - Up 130% - but represents a value increase of just £170k
# SBI - Up 50% - but represents a value increase of just £70k

At 8p the MCap = £6.6m - not the £3.3m shown on the Quote page! There are 82.55m shares in issue. My estimated current NAV of £5m = 6.0p/share

Don't pay a premium for an investment company - especially one controlled as to 77.3% by Richard Griffiths.

Perhaps consider a similarly sized investment company on a 40%+ discount & with a current MCap of £5.5m. PRIM @ 4p is backed by 3.5p in cash and another 3.5p in a portfolio of unlisted investments. Looks like a better bet. I declare a holding.

Mr David H Richardson increasing his stake through 15-23% today but no price change - is something about to happen ?

ADA is a 6-bagger in 2 hours today.

Well done to all the investors with quick fingers who made money here today.

Well done to all the ADA investors who ignored the derampers in the past few days.

With a new investment on the way, a famous big investor onboard with a 28% stake (Richard Griffiths), and a tiny 8m free-float of shares, ADA is undergoing a major rerating.

Up +10% now. Market starting to sit up and pay attention.

ADA is the kind of stock that could easily do 100%+ in a day when it gets motoring.

ADA exploring potential investments in the high-growth biotech sector. One of the best sectors on Nasdaq in 2014.

ADA's shareprice 6-bagged between Mar 2013 and Oct 2013 in anticipation of ADA spending its new funds and backing in a new investment.

ADA, right now, in Sep 2014, is once again at the point in its cycle where it has new funds coming in, a famous investor with a 28% stake, and the Board is discussing a new investment.

New money + new investment + new news = rerating for ADA...

Praipus -- Take a look at the 3 funding RNSs ADA released in Sep 2014. ADA is sitting on far more cash now than this time last year. The Board is also looking at a new investment to back into ADA. And as you rightly pointed out, Richard Griffiths and Ora Capital Partners now have a 28% stake in ADA. Such a famous investor would not take such a big stake in ADA if he didn't think / know something was cookin' here.

ADA is now ready for takeoff.

Presently offering a tiny marcap under £1m, ADA is sitting on spare cash and reviewing currently a new investment to back into (RTO into a shell).

ADA has a miniscule free float of just 8 million shares on AIM.

Once ADA moves, it will move fast.

Investors will be aware that EMT 50-bagged and CHA 10-bagged in anticipation of new shell investments this year.

However I think we do need to value the contractual rights we have to payments relating to the winding down of the old CPT portfolio for CGT purposes when calculating the loss when we sell a residual holding in ADA.

I haven't seen anything from the company to give much of a steer on how much those rights are worth though.

I don't know why but seem to be more trades with lots of different shares now show on
www.plusmarketsgroup.com
but do show on ADVFN.
Any way ADA shows more activity than usual on plus, about half a dozen deals about 60000 shares .
We have been promised action so just may be on the way.
Us old Daw investors deserve a break!

interesting movement on this one, have held this since it first listed as dawmed. Down a bit andf then up a lot. 2 reasons:

demand in the market for ADA shares - this one in no way follows indices.
Preditors sniffing around looking for an early lunch - saw the same thing as dawmed in the Sp down and then up.

Pure speculation
