Nemo, I think SHARES mag said TB own 15% at the moment & have done since ACT floated. Some cheeky buying going on around mid price-have bought another 8K. Not a lot but the only cash available til next week1

Heard a whisper that the company Ted Baker are looking to increase stake. How many % do they currently hold? Ta.

Hello Andy. Been watching this one. My reservations are the high capital expenditure and working capital, and what is going to happen to the retail market as interest rates rise. Interesting but risky.

The problem is not with the company. The shares are just so illiquid. You need to hold them...ideally till next results. Somebody sold 100,000 shares today which is not really a lot of money! Still, it's enough to give the price a good kicking. They are certainly undervalued in my view and I am happy to be patient... Andy

I saw this on the Guardian unlimited Actif Group, which owns the licence for the Elle clothing brand in the UK, moved up 1.75p to 9.25p after Seymour Pierce drew attention to the fact that the shares were trading on a 2005 price-to-earnings ratio of just over five. http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/story/0,3604,1188716,00.html

I am happy to be benefitting from this. However, it all seems a bit supicious to rise so fast. I am wondering whether there is some insider dealing taking place....no doubt we will soon find out. Andy
