Lee,

I think the slow and steady drift up indicates that there has been interest in the background for several months. People can see from the chart that it seems currently to be building a base. We expect an update in the next week or two on progress with constructing the 5 tonne per hour plant. Then contracts after that.

The price has been hammered down. The picture has changed. Interest is returning as confidence increases.

At least that's my analysis.

As long as it says above .52p the chart is positive as above long term MA trend line..6p is 200MA and this will bring in more technical buyers These are assumptions only Do not like news on Friday generally as not always positive.Early next week would be good though . An update on progress and in track would be a good start No real volume telling us any news though

-4.5 puzzled me too. I almost think there may be some news tomorrow or early next week. If it drops again tomorrow I'm thinking news imminent particularly of the volume is low bit balanced.

Great find Garth

Davis says the new Lumberton plant has been on the horizon for some time. “It’ll be a cool plant—there217;s nothing like it in the state, or the world,” he says, qualifying this by adding Fibrominn in Benson, Minnesota, is now offline. “We’ll take 100 percent poultry litter, burn it, sell the ash for fertilizer and dry wood for bedding houses. It’ll be a full, homogeneous circle of life for a biomass plant. It’s pretty neat. We’re proud of it.”

I had a dig in the list of speakers and couldn't see them. I was just glad to find some trace of ongoing Canadian wood pellet interest.

And a bit more on Hog Waste in this April piece on Georgia Renewable Power's use of the Lumberton site.

Oh, I forgot the hog-waste mentioned in a recent RNS (and that should set someone up for a great one-liner...)

Great summary Garth

"(P.s did anyone see where they hid RS? I keep searching to find trace of what he is currently doing in the Canadian shadows - but I don't find many breadcrumbs. I am kind of expecting that once they have the plant running and contracts signed they will then release him to jump out with a loud ta-da and unveil the fruit of months of grass-roots work establishing a Canadian business hub... Or is that too optimistic?)"

Maybe he is working hard behind the scenes or is that too optimistic? :-)

3DWD,

They have a process which takes low calorific value waste wood and turns into shiny black pellets that can be used as a coal-mix drop in without any of the currently necessary, highly expensive, modification. It has been certified already in Poland ("Superfuel").

The pellets are low sulphur and differentiate themselves against white pellets both through superior, cleaner performance and because they are highly water resistant - making shipping and storage far easier and economic,

There are all sorts of decaying waste that can be used so they can harvest fire break lines in forests - and use all the waste; and help to clear up piles of old coal chippings in Europe.

Timber that is no good for saw-wood is good for AEG. Saw-logging waste is good too. So is the softwood. And the stuff that the woodworm have been at.

They now have a clear, strategically chosen hub-site and attracting complementary business lines to assembly around them. That is providing raw material out of the waste being generated AND providing modest income lines.

Their strategic partner at Lumberton has a waste steam line that will be used as recovered energy to at least part fuel their steam-based process.

They are sitting on massive acreage of forestry in Canada (5 year) and Ukraine (30+ years, from memory) These are waiting as a resource to supply American, Canadian and European markets. I trust/hope that AEG will steward these resources with the highest care for environmental and wildlife concerns and those of local people groups.

There is a 5 tonne plant under construction at Lumberton. Key sections of that plant were already running elsewhere in the US - from where it was shipped - so there really shouldn't be any major issue. We are expecting to hear later this quarter that they are manufacturing and shipping volumes. They have off-take agreements in place for feedstock (a portion of it other people's waste that they would otherwise have to pay to dispose of).

Once that is done it is waiting for contract news. Pellets are already in use - its not a new market they are trying to open. Its just that their pellets have been shown in research to use lower-calorific feedstock, fire cleaner, perform better, store more easily and have a longer shelf life.

Oh - and they will look to finance a 50TpH plant on the back of the smaller one.

It has been a rocky, and at times depressing ride. I think the chart tells that story and is now pointing to a more rewarding direction of travel.

But that is not advice to buy, it should be taken as one opinion and I would urge you to do further research.

G.
