A UPVC beam in a barn conversion............, yes, I can imagine it.......... only in America.........

With your point - well made, Accoya has a future.

Also 'Accoya' would look more appealing on the floor compared to scratched, discoloured PVC and that's just one example.
Just thought of another point - can you imagine a UPVC beam in a barn conversion ?

Not everyone wants UPVC. There's still a big wide world out there for wood both for looks and strength and I would feel structurally more secure in a house made of a hardwood equivalent compared to plastic.

The thing is UPVC is winning i'm afraid. The thing is wood moves doors in particular...i have a hard wood door but it needs shaving away with the weather.

I doubt if wood will ever make a come back.

fusebox,

That's why they need Accoya.

I agree they do crack in strong sunlight but they are great products - Sikkens/Sadolin.

Fyern....

SIikens paint eh! All the wood stain manufacturers say wood stain dont crack and peel.

Not so...you want to try it on garden furniture after a few treatmennts...its does crack and peel. Renotikil, ICI, Ronseal, Sadolins...

All have the same problem!!!

Yes yes ho ho and wasnt telematics the growth story of tomorrow and after 10 years many struggling!

I understand the chemical industry as have contacts. The fact is they are losing out to PVC its unstoble despite attempts despite by paint manufcaturers to bring out new products. As an example ICI brought out a new paint to last 8 years. But they doubled the price and there is all the labour invoved in any event!

Most companies like these start ups carry on a few years without profitabilty and come to the market again for more money.

Look at Torotrak...yes its won a contract but after how many years!!!

Even now no one is certain the co will make good profitabiity going forward.

The RNS was done deliberately to hype up the co...all that was know about before the placing and could have been put in the placing documents.

Manipuation is the word. So mugs pick up the shares now and allow a few to get out with a good profit that got in prior to the dealing day and i know of one that did!

I rest my case.

"The RNS today appears to have been set up deliberately".

If you want my opinion it's the first of many. Keep them coming you have a world leading product now endorsed. Everyone will jump on the bandwagon as they are with MedicColon and MedicLung. They can't afford not too.

You can't buy better paint than Sikkens ask any furniture designer. Think of the boat/yatch industry.

10 years research but now they have route to market. Check out www.titanwood.com These guys are world players take a look at msht out of the same Mayfair office, until recently - axs moved round the corner.

These guys know how to licence products. msht is now world wide. Uk, Europe, USA, China , Japan etc etc. I've had the scan and I know it is the way forward.

I will also buy the paint for my outbuildings as will everyone else. Accoya will be demand driven as will msht.

People behind it are based at 46 Berkeley Square.

Should fly in time has more than this in the bag.

Watch their other stock fly - Medicsight (msht) when it opens on AMEX. www.medicsight.com .........any day now.........

Getting back to AXS see www.titanwood.com

They will quickly achieve a t/o of 30m euros and that is from just one plant. It has taken several years and a lot of money to get this off the ground as has msht (currently $5).

Both great holds.

Placed on AIM 26/10 at 1 Euro per share. Technology converts soft wood to hard.

Technology appears sound, however strategy (and, by definition - management, seem a little lacking). Time will tell....

Understand a new thread has been started (March 2010), so good luck all old holders and switchers.
