18/1/2024 12:46 | agreed on the growth being better than divs, but this acquisition will have only a minimal impact costing c£1m | arbus5000
18/1/2024 12:16 | Better to have share growth than dividends arbus5000 - I do not like dividends, better to use cash on growth and assets. | clocktower
18/1/2024 10:44 | there goes my dividend! The RNS could include deodorants as it specifically mentions "personal care", listed seperatly from the wipes. Deodorants are listed under Severn Delta products page. Looks like Pitrock is held seperatley, and severn was a previous shareholder (until 2015). Severn increased profits by 25% last year, but Pitrock lost money. Severn could be the supplier. The further extension into tumbler dryer sheets is also exciting, aside from the greater capability in environmentally friendly products - theyve had quite a bit of success with the bio oceans range, so further scope for synergies here. | arbus5000
18/1/2024 10:01 | I did wonder as the amount of parking on site wouldn’t be sustained with a 5m turnover. But trust management here they know their stuff. | deanowls
18/1/2024 08:43 | They also operate a separate company from the same premises, www.pitrok.co.uk. There is no mention of its products (deodorants) in the RNS and its registered offices are at their accountants office. So it would seem that they are selling the wet wipes and tumble dryer sheets business to Accrol and keeping the Pitrok one. | this_is_me
18/1/2024 07:37 | Yes, close to the M5, a cheap, profitable small acquisition to help expand the very promising wet wipes arm of the business. Its geographic position may well improve the overall distribution network. | this_is_me
18/1/2024 07:22 | This looks like a really good deal at a remarkably good price. Widen the markets and it will be easy to upscale with the growing distribution and marketing skills the company brings, and it will be able to make savings which will increase the value. | clocktower

09/1/2024 21:21 | results are due out end of month - there hasn't been any announcement of an acquisition so could be in line for a dividend c2p per share based on last years earnings. Expect a re-rating: A 5% yield on a non-cyclical growth story compared to the yield at unilver, which is at 3.89% - and is priced at a similar earnings multiple but isn't growth as increased revenes have come through price increases rather than volume growth (and consumers continue to trade down due to CoL) Revenue should have grown in line with prior trends, costs stable based off PPI. Ocean b2c proposition looks interesting with 45% growth, and check out recent reviews on trustpilot ( https: //uk.trustpilot.com/ Target 64p->77p. Further upside if Acrl gets a premium listing on the LSE, and see a c£25 mln marginal demand boost from index funds. current position : maintain overweight. | arbus5000

27/12/2023 18:54 | I've just seen this 6 minute Gareth Jenkins interview from 23/11/23 Gareth talks about acquisitions: "We have clearly seen some opportunities for the right acquisition" "will all come from our existing cash headroom and won't require any fund raises from existing shareholders" Gareth also talks about dividends, buybacks and licencing agreements. A must watch for any shareholder. | darrin1471
