21/6/2016 10:35 | From Amati VCT2's monthly factsheet out today: hxxp://amatiglobal.c "The biggest contributor to performance in value terms was again virtual queueing and ticketing specialist Accesso Technology, which reported that it had made a strong start to the year, with 18 contract wins and strong momentum across the whole business. Good progress is also being made with the rollout of last summer’s landmark global ticketing contract with Merlin Entertainments, which will include more than 100 attractions and will extend Accesso’s international exposure from 6 to 22 countries, underpinning future revenue growth and fully justifying its premium valuation." | rivaldo
20/6/2016 13:42 | Good to see Six Flags talking about further expansion, this time to Saudi Arabia. Will the men and women have to have separate admission times? | rivaldo
17/6/2016 07:25 | Two terrific new validations for ACSO's systems and software.... Firstly, the manager of the River & Mercantile UK Dynamic Equity Fund says this: "Merlin Entertainments, which operates theme parks worldwide, was recently added to the fund. The theme park operator is seeing growing demand for its content-based parks, such as Legoland. Using new and efficient ticketing software could also improve cash flows, which could subsequently be used to rollout more leisure parks." And secondly, last night Six Flags announced they'd won an award from CIO re companies from around the world that "exemplify the highest level of operational and strategic excellence in information technology (IT)": "The Six Flags IT team is proud of its role in enhancing guest satisfaction across all 18 North American parks. With over 42,000 employees and 29 million guests visiting each year, the company’s systems are designed to drive efficiency, foster better decision making via data analytics while presenting guests with real time park information through the use of the company’s new mobile application. “We are very excited to be recognized by CIO magazine,” said Six Flags Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer Michael Israel. “Using the latest technologies in mobile application and interaction, our guests can take advantage of the various services we have developed, from interactive park maps to accessing ride wait time, all on a native commerce platform using Android & Apple Pay.” | rivaldo

15/6/2016 08:28 | On a June 6th webcast, the Six Flags CEO explained exactly how they plan to sell more things to people over their phones while they're in the park [to the benefit of revenue that goes through the Accesso platform]. Transcribed starting at 23:35: "I think that we continue to invest in technology. As it relates to wi-fi, we are rolling out wi-fi at all of our parks. We're actually testing it in one of our parks this year to see really what the capabilities and the opportunities are there. So, but as you think about, and we recently launched an app last year that we're continuing to enhance. Ultimately, what we'd like to get to is the point where we have the technology where you've got an app on your phone, and that app not only allows you to see ride wait times, map for the park, but also allow you to purchase in advance your food and then go and pick it up 20 minutes later or buy a Flash Pass right on the spot while you're standing in a ride line or photos... So there's a lot of great applications that we're looking at that we'll be launching over the next I'd say two years." | 1001011

14/6/2016 17:24 | Hi Spud, I agree, it is likely that the markets are going to be messy until after the vote. I plan to wait until after the vote as I expect the share price to drop until then and hopefully I can top up. | glyn10
14/6/2016 11:19 | Interesting to note the price action on this. MMs seemingly unwilling to hold anything but a balanced book with the run up to a likely EU exit vote. The best thing is that it's a win win for Accesso. We stay and everything carries on for the Company as before (whilst snaffling cheap stock in the run up) - We leave and the £ drops against the $ encouraging more visitors to the UK = More business at parks. Lets not also forget that the Company reports and derives the bulk of its revenue in $. And how much business does Accesso derive from the EU? Pretty much zip as far as i'm aware... spud | spud

08/6/2016 08:49 | 'accesso is one of the best positioned technology companies in the U.K.' What a bullish statement & underpins what I have felt for years. Warren would no doubt have it as a 'super stock' if his analysts did their thing... Edit for the link riv : spud | spud
