If Tz Govt continue efforts to try to take over ACA assets then it will wipe out any foreign investment in Tz for the forseeable future. No company is going to take the risk. It would be incredibly stupid of Tz Govt to pursue such a policy.

Tz govt are not going to let this go. Lines have been drawn and credibility and gave will not want to be lost. Expect next statement to come out of the govt reiterating their finds and standing by them.

It's worth looking at the Tanzanian press (which is strongly influenced by the government) to see how they are covering the issue. According to them, Acacia are no more than thieves and fraudsters and evil foreign exploiters. Also, there is still a second commission to report to the President. This one is looking into the supposed economic damage that Acacia have caused to Tanzania over the last 15 years. In short, it seems to me that pretexts are being invented for full or partial nationalisation. Always remember that Tanzania is a little different from most African countries, and the socialist policies of its first president, Julius Nyerere, are still revered there.

I understand the obvious emotion as people have traded hoping for quick bounce. Looks like that was Friday.
Back down today it looks like as capital preservation for the company and traders becomes key.
