gbenson1 - that could be the price we paid for them also.

As I said earlier, do we have the option at the original "buy-in" price or if we want to exercise it will be based on today's valuation.

An option normally gives you the right to buy at a fixed price, I'm sure Zaf wouldn't have got 7.5% and then an option for increase to 10% at a much higher price in case VS didn't perform as well as it has.

It'll all come out in the wash, even I'm getting a tad impatient!

Leg other investments excluding VS, totalled £210,000 on the Mar 2016 balance sheet, if we were to increase our stake in VS we would need approx £5m for another 3% but this figure is rising daily!

Prof yesterday I tried to settle an argument on CI's BB

We have no deal on the table to buy any more VS shares on the cheap.

Most of the shareholders are connected to the company and therefore have no reason to sell and if they did, what would they want, £30 £40 £50 a share?

If they need cash, VS could allot more shares to sell but that would devalue the present share value and now that they are receiving income do you think they need the cash?

Of course Zaf & Thomas could sell their own VS shares to LEG but with only £500,000 in the LEG kitty we'd be lucky to get 0.2% to add to our 7%.

All above is my own opinion and in no way am I trying to de-ramp. I personnaly own 5.5M so I would like to come to your 1p party whenever that will be.

Good points Brian.

There could, of course, be an offer for VS on a private basis, which would mean LEG's stake being bought out.

Quite at what price is anyone's guess.

I wish Zaf would let us know whether or not we intend to up our stake to 10%.

I suppose it will all come out in time, but I think after Friday a lot of people are hungry for lots more news.

surprised that we've not heard from RTW after the great news because he had correctly forecast that JL were a target for VS..........perhaps he's busy sniffing out the next contract win?

I have a gut feeling that VS won't float this year but they will be approached by a large tech company who see great opportunities in amalgamating VS software with their own, and not necessarily a UK base company, although Peter Jones would be well placed to get the heads up from Nick Jenkins on the massive potential that VS would have with the right backer???

Nudging up a little further this morning.

The JL deal was clearly a good deal for VS and I would think we will more contracts being signed up over the coming months.
