Be interesting to see if theirs any movement at the US open, Leg is a nice vehicle now to grab a 7% stake in VS on the cheap, for a big US company..

sam the man1 - if you look at the piece from Beaufort, they value VS at £240m so not a million miles out.

As for the 10%, the option is still there. Zaf is probably playing a canny game, may have already agreed a price way back when, and is just waiting for a rash of positive RNS's regarding more contracts.

Remember, he did once say that he thought VS would eventually become a unicorn company, valued around £1bn.

To that end, I still think that the odds on a VS float are shortening all the while.

Does anyone know how much VS shares would cost to buy?

Unless my maths are wrong if Beauforts value LEG shares at 0.7p that would make VS worth about £280,000,000

Even at 0.2p it would cost LEG £2.3M to buy the extra 2.9%

Im not deramping and I hope Im wrong but sorry Lush I dont think that will happen anytime soon.

The next RNS I want to see is that Zaf has negotiated our stake in VS up from 7.1% to 10%.

We have the option, and we have some cash. Why don't we use it?

I don't think dividends are on the cards at this early stage. VS will float first.

That may illicit some more buying. Those with long-term views here though will just keep accumulating, so in some respects don't want to see too much of a spike just yet.

sid - I've been accumulating LEG for the best part of two years, and bought another 347,000 this morning.

If you study today's RNS and also the broker note, you will see that this is a stock that has to be continually bought on any dips. We know here that there is very positive newsflow to come in the future.

Eventually the value will be realised here. Lots on this board are waiting for 1p then we are having a big big party!

Just keep loading up on LEG when you have spare funds.

I think with VS winning all these "Premier league" contracts, a float seems inevitable, disappointed in all these sellers jumping ship, they must be happy with their 15-20%..

I wouldn't be surprised if the share price doesn't react much today but then starts to improve over the next few weeks once any profit taking is done. Seen that happen before where a co. gets very good news but share price doesn't initially react. More contracts seem very likely as JL are very highly rated as a retailer not least of all by me :)

It's hard to understand why people would want to sell LEG stock instead of buying it.

I foresee some more bullish RNS's regarding VS in short order.
