Sounds look football will be shutting down in Italy, Cheltenham is looking dodgy if Euros or the Olympics get cancelled 888 will take a pounding WMH will be even worse.

Paa65 - if it sticks around long term it will be horrific for 888 sporting events will get cancelled costing the company millions, thinking about if euros and the Olympics get cancelled the sporting calendar for 2020 is destroyed add in football fixtures being cancelled.

I can see of no good reason why GVC would wish to pick uo 888.

By missing out to GVC when it came to Bwin and not being taken over by WMH as they were asking to higher price it seems to me 888 have missed the boat and are now too small a fish in the pond.

Feels like this is going to head to 100p at that point i think GVC will just slide in in a pick it up for 130p a share.

Management have dropped the ball massively with 888. Changes needed or just get the thing sold while they can still get a good price if they persist with doing nothing organically.

Seems a million years ago since we were heading up towards £3 and fighting off T/O talks. Whats worse is that the management don't appear to be bothered about it and we seem to be getting left behind against all the other gaming companies.
We need some massive news to get this out of this current slumber.

I've added at about 129.5. It's possible it's found support at 128.5, although I had 126-127 as a likely target. Just have to wait and see I guess.

I think the share price will now challenge the 126/127 area. I'll be watching to see whether there are bullish signs around that level and may buy more if there are.

I'm still in and looking to build. Didn't drop that much today when you consider Billy Hills, Playtech and GVC. I'm still calling BH's to 173/174 area and will be looking to re-enter it at that point.
