Well done shaun, been in these for 10+ years and remember 30p and also 320p then 75p later on so its been a right old ride....good divis though throughout and my best ever trading share have pocketed well from 888, have now 300,000 shares and waiting for the end of their independence! my 4 month daughter also bought some at 80p recently during lockdown her first ever share and percentage wise shes smashing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finkie I have been holding this for 2 years my first buy was 14,500 shares at 2.48 and i have been averaging down ever since now just sitting back enjoying this ride.

I also hope we are near to the end with 888 been a long 3 years since 320p.....i'm not in Hills at the moment but they worry me more and i was glad to get out at 160p a month or two back.....not sure even at current share price im desperate to roll the dice again

Trent - based on the current share price performance i will say 888 but happy either way i am in both.

888 and Hills are the only 2 cheap but quality brands left Both will go soon Back in the day they were looking to buy each otherFar too late for that

Yes feels like a bid rumour finally pushing it back towards 200p what a ride down from 320p to 80p....never on any real disastrous company specific issue either....wider woes sure but not a 75% falls worth!

Indeed, given this sector has boomed during and will even more so coming out of lockdown it has been v quiet on the bidding front. One move could set the whole sector alight

Share price has started to move these last 2 days, maybe a steady rerating rise to reflect the 34% daily increase in revenue reported in the last trading update.

Trent - makes sense they have shown to have a covid proof business whilst a lot of other gaming companies have gone bust, if rumours start volumes will be huge.

I’m not sure what there is not to like about 888.

They have updated that the pandemic is not affecting business, in fact the opposite with a 34% increase in revenue per day.

Their business is all online and not affected by lockdown restrictions on the high st and when bad news happens in America ie 2nd wave, no affect on their business at all.

Given the share price moves against a falling sector I suspect there is some serious underlying accumulation of shares going onSmells like corporate action to meAt a 40 percent premium a bid of 250 might be enough
