03/9/2017 21:09 | 17 percent of profits but fat bank account helps | trentendboy
03/9/2017 10:17 | The fine is unlikely to effect the interim results as they would have been formulated before the amount of fine was imposed. They may well decide that it can be paid for by reducing the extra dividend, in which case it will hardly notice as far as company accounts are concerned. AIMO regards | peaeff
02/9/2017 10:49 | I think the market is smart enough to assess the company based on ongoing business performance. Note 888 has $172m of cash or cash equivalents when they last reported so it won't effect the balance sheet much. Seems as though geographical expansion is working well, and the company may well become the subject of a bid from one of the more traditional players in the market. With the cloud over the company seemingly lifted, I may open a position here... | quant_investor
02/9/2017 10:46 | One off hit for sure. Longer term? Not necessarily | trentendboy
01/9/2017 21:04 | 888 profits will take a hit with the fine. | coxsmn
01/9/2017 10:16 | The "fine" news sinking in (bad news but good publicity ironically). Now those stalking 888 will be readying themselves for a TO approach and similarly, 888 might be looking at a major aquisition to keep themselves independent - but who is left? An Hills or LADS deal is just not something that I could imagine. GVC more likely or one of the other independents. | trentendboy
01/9/2017 07:54 | Hopefully next week's figures will give another strong boost to the share price | peaeff
31/8/2017 20:00 | Nice bonus. Should really be on and up from here.Hmmm, tempting to really stack up now | trentendboy
31/8/2017 18:35 | 888 just promoted to ftse250. That won't do any harm | shaker44
31/8/2017 09:11 | Uncertainty over - was coming in to buy more on the grounds that is now over with. Big fine but could be worse. Now all of those predators that have been sitting and watching and launch their attacks | trentendboy
31/8/2017 08:39 | Back to £3 before the results on the 5th? | ricardothebrave
31/8/2017 08:33 | 1l1l1l That's what they have just been fined for. Its over. All the best | toyin
31/8/2017 08:29 | Well at least the clouds have now been lifted and with the early spike in the share price it would appear that the markets feel they got away lightly. Interesting to see now just how far this goes before settling down. regards | peaeff
31/8/2017 08:24 | Big fines coming as announced on the BBC, 7000 accounts not protected with the no gamble option ticked. | 1i1i1i
31/8/2017 07:22 | Action taken against 888 | kirk 6
24/8/2017 06:10 | I've been adding this over the last two weeks, also added to my gvc holding. | shayadfn
23/8/2017 11:02 | With gvc pulling out of the LADS deal you wonder who will come into their sights888 off highs, summer recess I suspect means autumn actionThey need to buy or be bought.Something has to give | trentendboy
11/8/2017 08:26 | That's me out :( | davr0s
08/8/2017 12:59 | Oh and party have just launched the first of a series of changes to their on-line product - which was a bit naff Looks like they are putting some serious effort into Poker | rbcrbc
08/8/2017 12:34 | I don't think the HUDS issue is much known about outside the regular pro players. Most of whom play on stars or the smaller softer sites. pokerscout apparently shows partypoker closing the gap on 888 (according to a poster on GVC), party have had excellent feedback to their new live events. But poker isn't the major factor in either company. | rbcrbc
08/8/2017 10:13 | Noise IMO at the moment as long as it doesn't make a lower low in the coming days | davr0s
08/8/2017 09:42 | Share price has reversed its uptrend. Due to HUDS issues outlined above? Or something else? Not much sales volume reported... | shaker44
06/8/2017 20:20 | 7 is commonly believed. Fish need a fair game to persist.Rec players are where the profits areArticle written to promote other sitesInteresting development thoughMost 888 profits from casino also | trentendboy |
