04/6/2021 10:00 | KATSY I've taken Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Zinc and Quercetin throughout this pandemic. | 1airbag
04/6/2021 09:59 | THB Have you got anymore conspiracy theories as all my theories are now fact. | katsy
04/6/2021 09:57 | See what you did mark10101? You brought out the conspiracy people. There is no end to what some people will go to to keep their world-view intact. Once you go down that road, eventually anything will fit your believe system, because anything that does not is simply part of the conspiracy. No wonder they all go nuts! | thresholdbypass
04/6/2021 09:29 | I was not trying to change YOUR mind mark10101, but it would have been something if that had happened. I was simply putting a countering view out there, since there seems to be no end of "miracles" being promoted by any and all. There is no simple treatment for the moment that has been proven in multiple double blind clinical trials, which is the only way to prove anything at all. For an investor in pharma you seem to play fast an loose with this concept quite happily. There are numerous "reputable" doctors and scientists (even virologists) in the world saying something different than what the consensus is saying and dilligent scientific method have proven so far. There is always a willing audience for the outsider view. That does not make it any more valid. Some people have some kind of perception that a thing like the "miracle" of anti-biotics can happen again and again and again. It took decades of hard work on discovery and trial and error and research to come to that "miracle" of penecillin. There will be no miracles magically produced by some "reputable" "scientist" on covid any time soon. Vaccines are pretty much the miracle you're all looking for so desperately | thresholdbypass
04/6/2021 09:01 | a lot of these trades would have been placed in the first few minutes when it was NT either way. Should clear this chaff out soon and continue on from yesterday. No sells of any significance. My opinion only, not fact | minja19
04/6/2021 09:01 | Great news, COVID distraction out of the way, progress on Asthma. | wiganer
04/6/2021 08:24 | Well at least we now have clarity on Covid: in my opinion (and in my opinion only) you can 'blame' some pretty warm handshakes between big pharma and government as to who would get the lion's share of patients. Think 'program sponsorship' imo. THAT SAID, I think it would have been a challenge for any small company like 4D, working on an experimental and entirely new class of drug (that's the crucial point) to get a high recruitment count AMID a severe global pandemic. The main news here is that the Asthma trial is now fully recruited which in turn is evidence that recruitment flow is normalising again (which should bode well for the other trials in 4D's portfolio). Asthma is a relatively short trial and you can now see when topline data will flow, which in pharmaceutical terms is just around the corner. If data from this trial is compelling (and it might be very compelling), there may still be some very relevant 'read across' for other respiratory indications such as Corona viruses and even influenza, so I certainly don't rule out potential therapeutic applications beyond asthma itself. Whilst we have withdrawn from the Covid trial proper, this does not mean that covid is irrelevant. If the data in asthma is strong, the implications will reach beyond that single condition. It is about lung inflammation and the biological reasons / solutions for that. | pistolwhip
04/6/2021 08:21 | Threaholdbypass, if you have time I recommend you watch the video link I shared. Western guidance on ivermectin is the same across the board. However the evidence is overwhelming for it’s effectiveness against COVID, to the point it is almost a miracle in it’s ability as a prophylactic, treatment for both COVID and long COVID. Pierre Kory is no crank, and his story trying to get the US to adopt it within their treatment protocol is laid out in the video and fascinating. Quoting 1984 ministry of truth will not change my mind 🤣 | mark10101
04/6/2021 08:17 | True mark, I think even the asthma trial is a bit off piste. Have zero problem with dropping covid. The company has limited funds, trials are very expensive and they need to adapt to changes in the world and put their money where it is going to be most profitable. Pi's moan about dilution, this is just making sure that money raised is used most effectively. Oncology results soon, that is going to be the most significant read out of the year. | devonlad
04/6/2021 08:17 | It is a anti-parasitic drug, that is tauted on BS information channels, same as chloroquine was. It's all totall BS. And it would still just be like a anti-viral drug, absolutely not specific for Covid, even if it did have any merrit, which it does not | thresholdbypass
04/6/2021 08:17 | Covid was always a non starter. Just management trying to extract value and get on the bandwagon (bit like Nasdaq listing). All the tricks of the trade being played here. They will be asking for another cash call, sooner than later. You idiots need to pay those expensive wages. | bluebear1
04/6/2021 08:16 | Chart points to further downwards trend, 97p seems to be the new resistance point.. imo Covid news may trigger possible testing of 75p/80p | kaka47
04/6/2021 08:15 | mark10101 extract from official USA government website: There are insufficient data for the COVID-19 Treatment Guidelines Panel (the Panel) to recommend either for or against the use of ivermectin for the treatment of COVID-19. Results from adequately powered, well-designed, and well-conducted clinical trials are needed to provide more specific, evidence-based guidance on the role of ivermectin in the treatment of COVID-19. link to the actual webpage: | thresholdbypass
04/6/2021 08:09 | Thresholdbypass there has been a very effective treatment for COVID for nearly a year (Ivermectin, safe with billions of doses administered over the years, off patent and crazy cheap....)it is just there seems to be a preference for the vaccine route by the western governments. I have never put any value on the COVID trials 4D were doing other than to validate the tech and they did demonstrate efficacy. | mark10101
04/6/2021 08:09 | I put some DDDD in the ISAs this morning | 1airbag

04/6/2021 08:01 | Wow bluebear1 just looked at your posting history. Seems you have a lot to get out of your system on 4D. Chin up fella, powerful reversal in the chart yesterday, solid news flow this month and confirmed progress with the Asthma trials. Things are looking up for 4D, maybe time to be looking at your glass as half full from now on. | mark10101
04/6/2021 08:00 | For all types of viral infections (like all types of flu for example) there is basically only one "treatment", which is some type of anti-viral drug. There are no specific drugs designed to treat a specific virus at all. So going after Covid is a incredible long shot. Vaccines are the best way forward and always have been. Treating symptoms like respiratory inflammation was not such a bad idea in itself but is no actual Covid treatment. Managing resources and by cutting of long shots and going for partnering out very expensive PIII trials (like Blautix) is pretty sound when you're not yet a multi-multi-billion pound entity. | thresholdbypass |
