30/7/2022 20:59 | A quick search for a real comparison of fuel costs resulted in the youtube video below. Three cars taking a 1,000 mile road trip in the US. Audi Q5 (Gas): $84.79 Tesla MS (Electric using Tesla superchargers): $66.35 Mach-E (Electric using Ford's network of chargers): $61.25 So in the US EVs are around 25% cheaper. Much longer term is the cost of maintaining an EV, which is substantially cheaper as there is much less to go wrong. | ![]() cfb2
30/7/2022 19:55 | Cant wait to see Elon musk face when people cant afford to charge their cars.Totally destroying the electric car narrative, no one will buy those now and those that have already will have massive regret. Serves them right for blindly following the Greta brigade with out thinking. Very few families can adjust to paying 700+ a month I can see civil unrest around the 1st quarter of 2023. Big families may be spending more than a QUARTER of disposable income on energy as the average bill soars to £742 a month from start of next year, figures show | ![]() johnwise

29/7/2022 22:47 | 25% of people that live in the state of Florida have some form of physical disability Thus imo it is reasonable to assume that most US states have an average of around 20% of people that have trouble or difficulties in getting out and about to do their shopping or collect their medical prescriptions 74.6 Million people in America are in fact in this plight The CDC say 25% of adult Americans This is why US Supermarkets and big Chemist chains plus fast food companies want to adopt land based AV's (no driver/autonomous) to delivery their products to their customers premises. Getting delivery staff to do this is also now proving to be a problem for them , so this is now a huge growth market opportunity. The legalities of providing such an AV (land/based drone) moving at no more than 25 mph to travel on existing roads and stop outside the customers house in a safe and efficient manner has resulted in some USA states to require such AV's to be remotely monitored --- 6 USA states have recognized this requirement to date. Germany has also stated the need for such remote monitoring to satisfy their safety requirements as have other countries where it is referred to as teleoperation Take a look and listen to how Guident --- a company in Florida have gone about winning their first contract from the city of Jacksonville JTA to do this and are expected to win more contracts before the end of 2022 | ![]() buywell3

28/7/2022 22:47 | Biden is pushing for EV and AV adoption He has just announced increased funding for Solar uptake so as to reduce electricity prices The charging of EV's and AV's overnight at peoples homes/garages is helped by theis Biden initiative US sales of EV's in june 2022 represented circa 5.6% of all new vehicles sold This EV percentage is expected to rise as the year progresses The average price of an EV in America is now $54K and Hyundai /Kia are selling like hot cakes Bloomberg reports that the Ioniq 5 from Hyundai and the EV6 from Kia were two of the best-selling electric vehicles in the US for the first five months of 2022. The two new EVs outsold everything from the Ford Mustang Mach-E to the Chevrolet Bolt and Nissan Leaf | ![]() buywell3

28/7/2022 11:24 | Short term Tesla's price getting a boost from the likely EV tax credit of $7,500 for new car sales, $4,000 for used EVs. Car price needs to be less that $80K for SUVs and $55K smaller vehicles. The income requirement of joint $300K and single $150K will hit some of the wealthier Tesla buyers but nonetheless worth having and considerably better than tying it to unionised work forces. Percentage of battery manufacture needs to be in US, with scaled increase over the years. At last a smart political move to ensure battery manufacture occurs in US. | ![]() cfb2

25/7/2022 22:41 | It is worth doing some research on NURO a US Private Company that have contracts with KROGER WALMART DOMINO's and many other BIG USA Companies for last mile deliveries to customers homes using AV's operating on public roads --- these services have now commenced in Houston Texas NURO have contracts with Roush Rousch also subsequently partnered with Perrone Robotics Perrone Robotics subsequently partnered with Guident so that Teleoperation benefits could be added to the use of AV's via a Teleoperation control center NURO have just announced the closure of its Phoenix Arizona operation so as to concentrate on Houston AND interestingly highlight the word Teleoperation 'Nuro has adjusted its focus in Arizona from on-road operations to teleoperations' The point being that there seems to be a coming together of companies involved with the various IP and technical offerings that are needed so as to be able to offer a safe AV delivery service The AV itself --- the sensor/AI/detection unit --- the teleoperation control center or NURO ---- Roush and Perrone ----- Guident and Perrone Lastly it is worth noting that UK listed Tekcapital (TEK) own over 90% of Guident Plus they also own over 70% of MicroSalt which have just done a deal with KROGER to sell their products in all 2800 of their US stores AND IMO also another 200 supermarket stores ( try a Google search using Saltme (made by MicroSalt) and WALMART) The point being that these BIG operators want to be able to offer a land based delivery AV option to their clients AND they have been wanting to do this for the last 3 years Only now has the coming together of the companies named above together with their technologies going to enable this offering/concept to become a widespread reality dyor | ![]() buywell3
25/7/2022 10:27 | Diesse a massive loss to VW in my view. He seems to be streets ahead of most other ICE auto-manufacturer CEOs | ![]() geckotheglorious
22/7/2022 20:56 | i'd have thought the German manufacturers were a serious threat In today's news Diesse, VW's chief, has been replaced with Porsche's Boss, Blume. VW is a large component of German car manufacturers. They own Porsche, Audi, Seat, Skoda, Bentley and a whole bunch more. Diesse was the one attempting to drag VW into this century with EVs. VW's self driving car project has been a disaster, which may explain his departure. Their in-car dash board/audio visual technology project was supposed to be delivering next year but is now expected more than 5 years from now. The only two major companies left are Mercedes and BMW. Mercedes might become a competitor at the high end, although they currently only sell around 70K EVs a year. BMW has an electric city car and has sold 165k EVs last year. I suppose they are both potential competitors but are currently selling an order of magnitude less than Tesla. | ![]() cfb2
22/7/2022 12:59 | Gary Black @garyblack00 ยท 23m $TSLA bears about to get smoked again as FY’22 est and FY’23 est keep rising. FY’22 EPS $12.37 (+5.3% vs pre-EPS).
