12/2/2003 10:40 | WEAKNESS in these Stocks ... shows Weak Breadth, I believe From Speculative Investor There are three tech/internet stocks (AVNX, CPTH and SPLN) that have been in the TSI Stocks List for around 2 years but that we no longer follow closely. We will therefore realise the large losses on these stocks (they will be transferred from the Stocks List to the Historical Performance table). AVNX .......... : CPTH .......... : SPLN .......... YAHOO: ST with UO... YHOO: Daily: Approach $20, then dive? | energyi

27/10/2002 17:18 | Looks like the old resistance at $18 is forming support. If $20 is soundly cleared some time soon, what's to stop it heading for $40 (not much resistance going back to November 2000 per the above weekly chart)? Bones | ![]() bones
27/10/2002 01:27 | Got just under $20. Looking to get back in over the next few months when (if?) it goes lower. | mart
25/10/2002 23:04 | Seems to be some strong resistance at $20,, | jl202
24/10/2002 23:01 | Limpy - I thought you knew your candles - it's one of those top thingies, isn't it? $20 and not a cent more. :-) | ![]() march
24/10/2002 22:16 | Well held Mart - I got out with good profits but too early. Funny old candle today - tomorrow should be interesting | limpsfield chartist
24/10/2002 21:45 | 4:19pm 10/24/02 Amazon posts third-quarter pro forma profit (AMZN) By Neil Chase Amazon.com (AMZN) , the world's largest online retailer, posted a pro forma profit of $400,000, or break-even on a per-share basis, and raised its expectation for fourth-quarter sales. The results handily beat consensus expectations of analysts surveyed by Thomson First Call, who expected a pro forma loss of 4 cents a share. Sales for the period of $851 million also topped analysts' forecast of $809.5 million. Amazon lost $35.1 million in the quarter, or 9 cents per share vs. a loss of $169.9 million, or 46 cents per share a year ago. Shares of the company fininshed the regular trading session up 11 cents at $19.86. | jl202
24/10/2002 14:59 | HHmm. Got to $20 again. Time to go? Conference calls after hours. | mart
12/10/2002 10:55 | Is this still an AMZN thread? LC Looks as if quite a bit of resistance at about $18?? | mart
28/9/2002 13:45 | Well limpy bearing in mind it will cost you about £25 to buy them, (and when I give it back to you) £25 to sell them, you might just as well knock off £100. You know I am poor, and I am aware of your kind generous nature in terms of helping people lol | ![]() paulismyname
27/9/2002 21:24 | Limpy, That was generous, they are practically giving them away anyway at 0.78p! LOL Good to catch up for a beer yesterday Cheers Ash | ![]() mr ashley james

22/9/2002 12:06 | are you still short on mhp limpsfield? considering opening a position on monday but the move up on friday was on high volume if it breaks out could be quite nasty. | ![]() stoner
20/9/2002 22:53 | Don't panic, it's just a tree shake.... Out of the rest today but would think about buying again near $14 | limpsfield chartist

19/9/2002 10:28 | I don't think so Mart - it still looks very strong and volume is bigger on the up days than down days | limpsfield chartist
19/9/2002 10:15 | Just noted a pleasing divergence from Dow over the last two days. Grasping at straws? | mart
18/9/2002 12:39 | Still hanging on to mine. | mart
12/9/2002 16:26 | Sold half of them today | limpsfield chartist
11/9/2002 23:37 | Just saw this, I bought Yahoo two days back, looking for a short term climb... I give em maybe a week, probably less than 2, for a nice short term long trade. Probably drop like a rock after that - they're moving in similar fashion I'd say, along with a few others in that sector. I'm hoping for $13, but the decliming tops are pointing at about $12... which would still be quite pleasant Dave | davejb |
