Happy Creek Announces Director Resignation

June 17, 2013 - Vancouver, British Columbia - Happy Creek Minerals Ltd. (TSXV: HPY) (the "Company") announces that Mr. Michael Lerner has resigned from its Board of Directors effective June 16, 2013. The Board would like to thank Mr. Lerner for his contributions to the Company and wishes him well with his future endeavours.

In addition, Happy Creek Minerals has received notice that Newmont Mining has terminated the Eye property (119 Ha, 11.9 sq km) Option and returned the property to the Company in good standing until December 31, 2022. The 100% owned Eye property is located north of the Company's Silverboss copper-moly-gold-silver property and east of Gold Fields Woodjam-Southeast copper-moly-gold-silver project.
