IceWEB Awarded Consulting Work-Order Contract From Fortune 10 Oil and Gas Company

Company Tasked to Analyze Current Geospatial Data Warehouse to Determine Necessary Improvements

Under the terms of the contract IceWEB Storage Analysts will review the current Geospatial Storage Data Warehouse and GIS (Geographic Information System) environment, analyze and document the existing infrastructure and its performance, and provide a detailed plan for infrastructure functionality and performance improvements.

Our IceWEB Professional Services staff will travel to the client's location for five (5) business days to provide on-site technical consulting support.  During this engagement, the technical consultant will cover the following topics to assess enterprise GIS performance: I/O (input/output) Analysis to determine if any significant architectural bottlenecks are present, collection of detailed performance metrics, identification of any problems with system configuration and an overall architecture review.  Once the analysis is complete our team will discuss with the client their findings and detail any existing components that impact performance.  During the on-site GIS Performance Assessment, IceWEB will also analyze the storage platform and environment and will prepare a brief summary of the assessment findings and recommendations in a Storage Assessment Report."
