TechTeam Named No. 1 Help Desk Outsourcing Provider in Global Customer Satisfaction Survey

Company also ranked No. 1 globally in IT infrastructure outsourcing for Mid Tier clients


SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Aug. 19  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TechTeam Global, Inc., (NASDAQ:TEAM) today announced that it has been named No. 1 globally in help desk outsourcing across both Tier 1 and Mid Tier customers in the Black Book of Outsourcing 2009 Survey on Top Infrastructure Management Outsourcing Vendors. Across the broader scope of information technology (IT) infrastructure outsourcing, TechTeam was named the No. 1 vendor globally for Mid Tier customers. The report classifies Tier 1 customers as organizations with revenues greater than $1 billion and Mid Tier customers as organizations with revenues between $500 million and $1 billion.

To determine these satisfaction rankings, Black Book collected evaluations from 3,175 customer respondents covering 18 performance areas related to operational excellence. The data was subdivided by customer industry, size, geography and function outsourced, producing vendor rankings by those categories. More than 140 IT outsourcing vendors were evaluated.
