17/10/2017 13:00 | UBS above 6% now and Polygon Partners over 18% some believe TW has got it very wrong again but he does give others good buying opps, sometimes TCM and PURP might be others? N.B. I know nothing about TCM, except its price has recovered strongly since damned by TW | rogthepodge
16/10/2017 17:17 | Agree with you lorentz and apologies to everyone. The H1 report doesn't say if the NAV includes the escrow money or not. But the cash figure excludes the escrow money. And on checking the financial statements the current assets exclude the escrow. So NAV at 30 June was 143p and if successful in defending the S&G claim add another 109ppm. Lots of litigation and no doubt some pretty wild swings in share price. Just like the good old days of Quindell. | grahamg8
16/10/2017 17:13 | another guaranteed 0p from TW gone horribly wrong for him? failed fund manager still failing as a 'journalist' | rogthepodge
16/10/2017 16:50 | Doubt any leaks involved, other than the leak of the defence on TW's site over the weekend. WTG clearly put together some good people on this defence. £66.5m net assets EXCLUDES the £50m escrow. Likely to be some further non provisioned cashburn, though the provisions have proven to be very conservative so far (large amounts released unused) so maybe balances out a bit. I also think some of the businesses are worth more than the balance sheet would suggest. There's also the class action, which has stagnated for now. TW's leaked letter says around 450 signed up claimants + hundreds of potentials. Same as May 2016 when it was 440 signed up for total claim value of £11m and over a thousand been in contact. Looks from the letter like they need SGH to settle before they'd get litigation funding, and probably something useful from the SFO to win anything at all. Clearly WTG will fight those guys hard too to minimise the cost if it materialises. | lorentz7
16/10/2017 16:01 | Leak? RNS tomorrow? Net assets of £66.5m includes the escrow money and equates to 143pps. So a bit more on the price is still possible. Edit: see posts 3210 and 3212 below for correction. | grahamg8
16/10/2017 14:57 | Up she goes - some people clearly like the WTG defence and are piling back in. | cheek212
16/10/2017 10:24 | So good news for WTG then, Sweetkarolina. SGH share price hasn't shifted on this announcement. | rogthepodge |
