Posted at 18/4/2024 19:51 by mathieson84 Funding milestones met and tranches of shares issued to billionaire investor Q global for cash. From Jason Brewer: "The shares issued now come from a transaction that we actually started negotiation on in November 2022 and which we announced in January 2023." "Since then the funds - which have now had shares issued against them - have purchased plant and equipment and funded diamond drilling and exploration activities across the company's portfolio of battery and critical metals projects" From Dave on telegram: These shares were announced in Jan 2023, well above what the share price was at the time. These shares were announced in Jan 2023, well above what the share price was at the time. Jason also has a 72k salary. How does that bench across other junior mining CEOs? We see a lot of numbers much higher than that. There was anticipation of these shares being released (as it was announced in Feb and March) so some traders may have anticipated a dip to trade. Some targets have slipped, mainly listing on NSE and JSE, possibly announcement any day, could even be as soon as tomorrow. Also just huge lack of confidence in junior mining sector due more bad news stories than good. However, if revenue and first OT land next month, manganese May or shortly after as it is already producing the Maru will be more financially secure than most junior miners and it will show that the collective of Q/Jason/relevant consultancies have chosen and expedited the right kind of projects. |
Posted at 03/4/2024 13:01 by someuwin Jason Brewer @JB_MiningAfricaHard not to get a little frustrated in todays markets. ⚒️ lithium and tantalum production - NOW ⚒️ manganese production - IMMINENT ⚒️ copper production - Q2 2024 ⚒️ graphite production - H2 2024 others..... So all this for just 10p a share. @MarulaPlc #MARU |
Posted at 19/3/2024 08:29 by someuwin Jason Brewer @JB_MiningAfricaYep. In 2024 we are looking to have the four production centres in South Africa and in Kenya and Tanzania. ✅ lithium and tantalum ✅ copper ✅ graphite ✅ manganese @MarulaPlc #MARU |
Posted at 19/3/2024 07:49 by someuwin Yup - in the big league now.MARU signs long term Lithium offtake agreement. First sales to commence in May 2024. "The agreement is based on the sale and purchase of 100% of Blesberg's production of spodumene ore and concentrate to Fujax through to 31 December 2026, with a minimum of 50,000 tonnes ("t") at a grade of 6.00% lithium ("Li2O") (minimum 5.50% Li2O) to be delivered during this period and with an option to extend by a further three years thereafter." |
Posted at 07/3/2024 16:51 by johnyee 7 On his flying visit to the UK, Jason gave up his time to call into the London studio this afternoon before boarding a flight this evening back to Nairobi, Kenya.November last year when Jason called into the studio, the share price stood at 9p now it is circular 14p. There is a lot going on with Marula Mining, three listings are due, dual listing on the Nairobi stock exchange, and the first-ever mining company to list. |

Posted at 22/2/2024 11:54 by gasman10 Notes from last nights zoom call.* Offtake not yet signed. European company based in Switzerland. Got a meeting on Monday and if no positive outcome will look to take an OT forward with another party. Lots of interest. 2 in particular and 1 is keen to invest to produce a carbonate product. OT’s generally specify a 5% minimum product and the price can be higher for better grades; * A different project is under review for potential production in Q1; * Kinusi scheduled to start producing in Q2. They are looking into options for copper cathode in the future to maximise revenues and not let too much value go early on; * There was 36k tonnes of stockpile at Blesberg last year and that’s increased by around 40%. The Tomra should arrive early March and should not take too much commissioning - operational second half of March hopefully; * Korridor is really good but they have 3 other lithium projects under review - 1 of which is adjoining Blesberg!! * Copper OT’s are already in discussion; * Listings will go in the previously suggested order:- - NSE approx w/c 11/3 - Fader Investment Bank to confirm when submitted the listing document and NSE to confirm it is acceptable - then good to go; - JSE quickly after that as the NSE is the gateway into the JSE; - LSE hopefully in Q1 as well but following the other two and we need to meet the £30m requirement. * The Tomra takes 5 x the material of Rados and they are looking to use in series together. Tomra first to remove the other minerals and then leave a cleaner spodumene for the Rados to process; * Newsflow: no need for any concern - Jason has been in 3 days of negotiations but RNS’s are being worked on and May have announcements end of this week and through next week; * Q is very happy with progress. He is busy finalising his billion dollar fund in the Middle East and US but is keen to accelerate development into alternative metals and minerals; * Blesberg - assay 1 is due 1st or 2nd week in March ish. Assay 2 poss end of March; * Dividends are important to Jason as a major shareholder and it is not just a box-ticking exercise for the NSE. They have full intention to pay divis when cash flows allow; * Deals - in South Africa and Southern Africa - relating to copper and lithium. RNS’s soon!! * Once production and revenues start, they will be looking to move away from share based acquisition payments to cash based payments; * Blesberg - down the line we could look to move into battery manufacturing to maximise revenues and Eastern Africa is positioned well to be a battery hub!! * CPR’s are complete for:- - Blesberg - Nkombwa Hill - Kinusi Graphite CPR’s are being completed asap. All of the CPR’s are needed for the LSE listing * $406 AISC - so we are very comfortable at these current lithium prices * Value of bi-products from Blesberg will exceed the operating costs of the mine ? * Any new lithium mines brought on stream in that S.Africa/Blesberg area would be fed into the Blesberg machinery; * Graphite - could look to do a quick DSO product to get revenue or they may try and get a higher value product to take advantage of the jumbo flake prices. Balance of quick to production Vs not giving away too much value too quickly * Zimbabwe & S.Africa really good for copper and lithium projects. Tanzania & Kenya great for critical minerals. * Nickel - very few nickel sulphide projects around. Tanzania is a possibility. * Manganese - looking at a project in Kenya * Aspiration to have cash generating assets in both S.Africa and E.Africa so they can operate each area independently * Important to consolidate Marula’s position and they want to increase their positions in S.Africa & Zimbabwe as they have a very good S.African team. |

An initial report of the findings from the Phase 1 Program of exploration activities is due to be received in January 2024 and along with the assay results from the sampling program, they will be incorporated into the Phase 2 Program of exploration activities, which will include geophysics surveys, multi -spectral satellite image work, additional trenching, and the commencement of a diamond drilling program later in Q1 2024. Highlights: · Phase 1 Program of exploration activities completed on schedule by Geofields · The work at the Projects is focused on the high-grade and jumbo flake graphite mineralisation that has previously been observed with visual estimates of +90% graphite content in shallow broad graphite veins at Nyorinyori · The Phase 1 Program of exploration activities comprised of mapping, sampling, and trenching field work across the 20 granted mining licenses that make up both the Nyorinyori and NyoriGreen Projects · Approx. 200 samples have been taken as part of this Phase 1 Program and sample preparation will commence in the new year by SGS Tanzania, with the samples then sent to South Africa for assay work by SGS South Africa · Assay results from these samples are expected to be received by the end of January 2024 · Initial feedback from Geofields on their findings from the Phase 1 Program of exploration activities have been positive in respect to both identified strike lengths of graphite mineralisation and visual grade estimations of total graphite content · A preliminary Phase 1 Program report is due to be submitted to the Company by Geofields in early January 2024, which will include a summary of the initial findings and their recommendations for the next Phase 2 Program of activities · This preliminary report and recommendations are due to be presented to the Company in early January 2024, with a final report to then be provided upon receipt of the assay results and geological database for the Projects · A Phase 2 Program of exploration activities is then scheduled to commence in Q1 2024, incorporating the Phase 1 Program results and recommendations, and will include additional trenching, geophysics surveys, multi-spectral satellite image work, and the commencement of a resource drilling program across the Projects Jason Brewer, Marula Mining PLC CEO said: "The significant progress we have made at the Nyorinyori and NyoriGreen graphite projects would not be possible without the efficiency and effectiveness of Geofields. The pace at which they were able to complete the exploration activities is a testament to their skill and geological knowledge. ""I am proud of the progress the Company has made at the Nyorinyori and NyoriGreen graphite projects. With the community engagement process commencing, the application for additional mining licences in progress, and now the completion of the Phase 1 exploration activities, we are well positioned to take advantage of the momentum we have created to advance the Projects to the next stage of development. I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish in 2024 and providing updates to shareholders in the new year." Further Information Phase 1 exploration activities at the Projects included mapping, sampling, additional trenching work where applicable and the establishment of a comprehensive geological database across the 20 granted graphite mining licences. Approximately 200 samples across both Nyorinyori and NyoriGreen have been taken, with sample preparation to be completed by SGS Tanzania at its facilities in Mwanza, and the assay work to then be completed by SGS South Africa in Randfontein. The Phase 1 Program of exploration at Nyorinyori focused on the high-grade and jumbo flake graphite mineralisation that has been observed with visual estimates of +90% graphite content in shallow broad graphite veins at Nyorinyori. This mineralisation has been seen to extend over an initial strike length of over two kilometres at Nyorinyori and is interpreted to extend into the NyoriGreen licenses area. As announced on 13 December 2023, Takela Mining Tanzania Limited ("TMT") and NyoriGreen Mining Limited ("NML"), having collectively made seven new Mining License Applications at Nyorinyori and NyoriGreen. These applications are anticipated to be granted in Q1 2024. Additionally, to demonstrate the Company's commitment to its Environmental, Social and Governance principles, Marula Mining has commenced the community engagement process at the Nyorinyori and NyoriGreen graphite projects. This is a significant milestone for Marula, and its planned progress at the Projects, as the Company prioritises its move towards sustainable mining. |
Posted at 15/8/2023 09:49 by flying pig This share looks as though it should fly from here. Lots of exciting developments and a potential move to the AIM market in the coming weeks.Somewhat surprisingly that there is no active thread. Today's RNS indicates an active drilling program on a site that is already incredibly promising. gives an interesting interview with the chief executive. |
