17/3/2005 07:56 | I wonder how many times SCP will cut and paste this one ? why not just sell HEV assets to a third party for cash ? | currypasty
17/3/2005 07:52 | absolutely | corrientes
17/3/2005 07:46 | a stunned silence | currypasty
14/3/2005 13:50 | Yes. Mirror's column was called the City Slickers. I don't believe Terry is related to the saintly England batsman, being genetically ill-disposed towards cricket, his favourite pastime being the carrying of 9ft crosses around Surrey commuter belt town centres! | tkon
14/3/2005 13:29 | No relation to the sadly recently-departed and far more saintly ex Bishop of Liverpool, David Shephard I hope. Weren't Bhoyrul and Hipwell defendants in the Mirrorgate share scandal a couple of years ago? Is it the same thing? | sharecropper
14/3/2005 12:41 | Very good, sharecropper. By the way, the pie-munching ttiger seems to have been a bloke called Terry Shepherd who, it seems, may very well be standing trial in November alongside Anil Bhoyrul and James Hipwell, for his part in the City Slickers affair. I could always smell a rat!! | tkon
14/3/2005 12:11 | Steady on there. | corrientes
14/3/2005 12:10 | 10 X bagger ?!?!? | sweet cherry pie
14/3/2005 12:09 | I believe there is oil in them thar island. I also believe they have sent the hat round for a rapidly filled fundraising in the City recently. But it COULD ALL BE BULLSH*T - not mine, but my source's. I haven't heard anything for a while on selling the gold assets to another company, but that MUST surely come, as they concentrate more and more on oil. Fingers crossed. | sharecropper
14/3/2005 12:08 | Depends how many recoverable barrels of oil are found? 7% of whatever they find will need to be factored in to the current share price. Of 7 holes drilled, hopefully at least 1 will make it all worthwhile. | demetri
14/3/2005 12:05 | what shareprice on a NOP partner oil find ? | currypasty
14/3/2005 11:46 | The gold front seems to have been put on hold for a long, long time, mind you that could hot up now they have another JV partner. | demetri
14/3/2005 11:45 | Possible oil find with NOP,that aside not a lot. | demetri
14/3/2005 11:19 | so what are the positives, do you think, about HEV, shareprice aside ? | currypasty
14/3/2005 11:12 | sharecropper, Are you in agreement that the only activity that will nudge the price up will be decent drill results on the IOW? Every other bit of news just seems to get ignored; such as the recent jv? | demetri
14/3/2005 10:55 | Stating facts about a share is quite different to "talking it down?" Break the emotional ties and look at the facts. | demetri
14/3/2005 10:31 | the fact are you are always here to talk the share down, saying you will buy, when certain contitions are met, but never do | currypasty
14/3/2005 10:29 | I have explained myself regarding "buying" in at 6p if it held that price for a mere 1 week!! I was put off by the sell trades that were going through. I also explained that as a holder of NOP,I like to watch the developments of HEV. Is it a crime not to "ramp" this share as others do? My comments are not snide remarks but simple facts. May I suggest that you keep emotion out of this and stick to facts? | demetri
14/3/2005 10:25 | why does it matter to you, if you dont hold, and wont buy at 5p, and then say you would buy at 6p, which it did achieve, but then didnt buy either... what is your purpose of keep looking, and making snide remarks ? | currypasty
14/3/2005 10:21 | With the spread on this, and also the nms I would suggest it is nigh impossible to make money trading on this? Always the promise of monumental news, when it is announced the price either edges up 2-5% or drops? | demetri
14/3/2005 09:59 | sharecropper, This has been a Micawber-ish share since listing, something's always around the corner. What's bemusing is why anyone living in Thailand would be interested in a tinpot trying to dig up bits of the Isle of Wight. Surely Australia or the Far East in general presents more opportunity? Anyway, we'll wait and see shall we? Regards, The Knight of No. PS you must have been a very good trader to make lots of money out of this? Lose lots, yes, but make...hmmm. | tkon |
