peterstilgoe - looks like just a bit of light profit taking on the back of delayed drilling....great buying opportunity in my view....technicals would also indicate similar....

Ps - for pedantic BB-ers, I should clarify something - I am 7 hours ahead of the UK, so a 23.25pm post is not an after the pubs close bleary-eyed blast, but a 6.25am waking-up effort, so my reference to "last night" is still your last orders. Enjoy.

Last night I heard something very interesting about HEV, my total cynicism nothwithstanding. They WERE at PDAC, and now I understand they are doing the rounds for something else which we will hear about shortly, like in the next 2 weeks. This isn't a ramp - I have lost a lot and made a lot with these duffers, but I have VERY good industry contacts (even though I live in Thailand!). If we don't hear some interesting news within 2 weeks, I am happy to be TKoN'd.

If you want a real laugh, given that Backoffice Boy is evidently back from the Friday lunchtime bout of 4 pints of reassuringly expensive Wifebeater, why not ask him what his "City Gang" have recommended is a buy in the near future!

If he suggests a near idle explorer of anything potentially natural on the resource front, you should fill your boots, grab a shovel and head for the Isle of Wight. By the way, make sure that you scuttle the ferry once you're there, because you wouldn't want anyone to share in the dozens of pounds to be made from IoW oil.

Interesting. Sweet Bankside M1Connection always follows up with a vindication of what I say, as in he hates it so much he filters it.

Scaley, I tend not to post what I'm positive about because I only invest for a laugh (as in a bit of fun) and therefore have variable success. Being a vain creature, I tend not to wish to expose my incontinent stock selection to general ridicule! Nevertheless, just for you, I either hold or am actively interested in (on a long basis, don't do short) Dominoes Pizza (a Warren Buffett, buy what you know play up 30%), Lloyds (sold recently for +25%), Ceres Power (from well before listing and a 90% gain at the moment), Tadpole Tech (oh dear - made money on it in the past; given it all back recently) and a smorgasbord of other little delectables of varying usefulness to the Knight's pension plan!

Unfortunately (for him), none of them are SCP ramps and he'll never know, but then given his overwhelming ignorance, we wouldn't want to expose him to too much knowledge at once, would we? After all, he might stop believing that "England is for the English" and social welfare is a one-way ticket home on the banana boat!

TKoN has been on FILTER for a long time now....would have absolutely no hesitation in strongly recommending this course of action to anyone !
