NEW YORK, Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R)) today announced that Van Eck Global has launched its seventh ETF on the Exchange: Market Vectors-Lehman Brothers AMT-Free Short Municipal ETF (AMEX:SMB). "We enjoy continuing a partnership with Van Eck as they add new products to their growing family of ETFs," said Scott Ebner, Senior Vice President of the Amex ETF Marketplace. "SMB provides investors with exposure to investment-grade municipal bonds." SMB aims to track the Lehman Brothers AMT-Free Short Continuous Municipal Index, a market size weighted index comprised of publicly traded municipal bonds that cover the U.S. dollar denominated short term tax exempt bond market. The Index has four main sectors: state and local general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, insured bonds, and pre-refunded bonds. Kellogg Capital Group, LLC is the specialist for SMB.
