28/6/2026 12:02:16 | No RNS as it is a long way from earning revenues. However it’s another example ( like Quinas) where there is huge potential and the research is being funded externally, it’s NOT an expense.
I would expect that both companies would have funding rounds to allow them to expand and maybe IQE could participate. Both also represent great promise of being acquired by big tech companies which would accelerate the road to market and profitability
It’s highly likely that there are more early stage companies using IQE’s know how and expertise as compound semiconductors open up the potential for brand new technologies.

28/6/2026 11:20:15 | back to back news since MTSI and then TSEM and now Lightricity, definitely on a roll which is what you want to see following a clean balance sheet
IQE and NVDA do your thing, we can all dream right | dedicatedtostocks55
28/6/2026 10:22:02 | sweenoid - sounds exciting. But if I had £1 for every transformational new partnership you’ve highlighted with IQE, I wouldn’t need to own a single share.
We need collaborations that are going to deliver significant revenues & profit NOW. Not some rocketman initiative that might just possibly deliver at some future stardate.
I do think there are some strong indications of major growth ahead. Just not this one. | lord loads of lolly
27/6/2026 14:10:08 | Very nice!
RNSable? | dedicatedtostocks55
27/6/2026 10:35:46 | More on that collaboration - great to see the ROLLA project IS BEING FUNDED BY THE UK SPACE AGENCY ✅ and is being regarded as a MAJOR project by the UK Government
Flexible, roll-out solar power for satellites - that's what Lightricity, AVS Added Value Solutions and IQE are building together, backed by the UK Space Agency's National Space Innovation Programme (NSIP-2).
The consortium has received £1.9 million under NSIP-2 to develop and qualify an ultra-high efficiency, fully flexible roll-out solar blanket (ROLLA) for in-orbit deployment.
ROLLA combines Lightricity's high-efficiency space solar cell and blanket technology with AVS Added Value Solutions compact roll-out deployment mechanisms and space solar cell epitaxy by IQE — delivering a modular, flexible array capable of providing hundreds of watts up to several kilowatts of power to small satellites and spacecraft.
Compared to current rigid solar panel technologies, ROLLA offers reduced weight and volume, enabling more power-demanding missions and lighter launch weights.
This project demonstrates the strength of UK space collaboration, and we look forward to continuing our work with AVS Added Value Solutions & IQE as development progresses into the next phase.

26/6/2026 13:25:51 | Apple price rises only relevant to IQE as they may sell less units with higher pricing which would be a negative. It’s the memory stocks that will do well off this news as that’s where the price rises have come from. | crosswires

25/6/2026 17:53:33 | Always the same, the US sniffs and the UK catches a cold! I wish I'd been invested 100% in US equities over the last 25 years rather than in the fickle UK market, although it's done Ok over the last 6 years I suppose. | bountyhunter
25/6/2026 16:39:19 | Considering the carnage in photonics IQE held up very well today, a good sign that it’s not viewed as one of those “exponential8221; based on hope that crazy laser revenues come in two years type stocks like Sive.
Richard G has obviously decided that the major re rate has occurred and he doesn’t want to hold as much for the long term and maybe thinks the summer market will be choppy as it’s all so overvalued at the moment, probably sound rationale.
I’d rather stick to my guns and wait for the year end, on balance I can only see us being higher, even if there is a correction on back of the macro economic situation I don’t see us being any lower at eoy. If there is no such correction then I still believe we will be at yearly highs. | crosswires
