GGP has the last right of refusal over Havieron alone. This means any 3rd party bidder for Newmont's stake in Telfer + Hav runs the risk of Newmont being dumped with Telfer alone.

It's pretty simple. There is no 3rd party bidder unless Shuan says so.

You are missing the point. It's about $500m US to build a 350koz plant and mine at Havieron

Telfer needs Havieiron, more than GGP needs Telfer. This is called negotiating leverage and GGP has it on its side.

IMO the narrative is being 'staged mananged' now for a lowball bid to buy Telfer= 70%.

Wouldn't surprise me if Wyloo Orchestrated the entire situation. It's in their inetersts to see the value of Telfer and Haveiron 70% be as low as possible.

A high GGP share price is a part of the valuation. Would not surprise me if these Global prime Partners unidentified custodian has been 'enlisted' to manage the GGP share price

Nothing would surprise me where $20bn of gold are at stake

Remind me can Newmont drag along GGP in a sale of the JV or can they force the sale of 100% of Haviron

I don't disagree that Telfer needs Havieron. But, GGP needs both.

Anyone can build a plant. But, at what cost? Both in terms of capital cost and time. It'll be much chesper for someone with an existing one to ship the ore by road.

Wasn't any of this in Shaun's plans that he shared with you? ;o)

It looks like the MM on the offer has no more shares to give them cheap, so the offer is on the rise as is the bid 5.50 v 5.60p now

You're not 'up there with the big boys' Dim. You're down there in the stokehold with a share in a co run by a blusterer which has no assets to speak of, an enormous liabilility to fund whatever is needed to keep - let alone add to - 30% of a potentially very large project far into the future - against 'truly big' boys who will twist any blusterer around their thumbs and care not a jot for said bluster's shareholders. As has been said on here, why has said blusterer nor been adding to his holding ? Because, as for all in the mining industry, shareholders are there only to support management's career ambitions. Full stop

Lundin has just done a huge deal with Newmont, involving 2 big future cash payments to Newmont to end its tie-in stream credit facility.

Hopefully we're next in line for Newmont's negotiators....

It shows that Newmont will readily consider future cash payments to secure a deal to hit its debt repayment targets.

The same pattern of the last few days
A Market Maker is being supplied with shares from an Institution soon after opening, therefore a marked-down to get rid of them.
And it seems PIs are happy to get some at those low prices.
Have they finished selling them?

Gold price UP by $18 to $2348

When you know what we are sat on, and the quality of the leadership, then you know it recovers. It's pretty simple. Sellers are just sellers... they come and go.

Now it’s just a ticket and it doesn’t matter LMAO

Then why you here ? Because obviously it’s a waste of time as you are ineffective and according to you it’s just a ticker.

Doesn’t make a lot of sense.

It's just a ticker chaps.
They go up and down with supply and demand, if we have seller once they are out and the shorts close then we rapidly turn around.

Meanwhile copper and gold keep punching higher and we keep getting closer to the ore.

Plenty of time for this to recover as we move into production - where new MREs land with much higher cut off grades. Presently the cutoff is 1g/t

Imagine if they lower it to 0.4g/t

Or it means there’s unlikely to be any other offers.

Er... Why? Why wouldn't other companies make offers? They'll know what the deal is worth and could force GGP to overpay, no? Let's face it, GGP needs both Havieron AND Telfer, other suitors don't.

We're a minnow in a shark infested world of mid size producers. Shaun won't even have a say in this matter. Wyloo will make the deal thatthey think is best for them.

Skyship; re 32100: Unfortunately I'm not a member of SD's & Hydro's inner circle, so I'm not privy to any info other than what's out there.

Given that we have had regular updates on the water management issue up until November and then complete radio silence, one has to assume that the problem persists. The rest of it is just maths. 5 months delay in fixing the water issue, will mean that we start mining 5 months later than the already delayed Q1 2025.

What in the Sam Hill!!!!
Last time I was on here it was nudging 6p.

Say what you like but, it doesn't read well for people with half a million investment who bought in the 20's, 11-12p range...obscene buys at 6.89p and recently stonking 5.98p buys.

What is it they say "Never chase your losses".

We said 8p.......they laughed.
We said 7p.......they laughed.
We said 6p.......they laughed.
We said 5p......they continued to laugh.
We are saying 4p.....Get my drift.

But what can you say, holders here are the types who would laugh all the way into suspension.
Stupid is, what stupid does I guess.

Oh dear!

It's so upsetting and disheartening when the fudsters post negative about Shaun Day. I have searched and searched for any negatives and still I can't find anything?

They want to sow seeds of doubt, they want us to get angry with the dip in the share price

Surely institutions can't be far off filling thiers boots

If Havieron is what we believe to be then it's a once in a decade + 20moz gold and copper mine.

What makes me laugh is why arey all saying we are 8.4moz equivalent.

Shaun sees you. That's why he said 20 million ounces plus.
.I truly believe that Shaun is up against nefarious dealings and he is one of the good guys 🙏

"In Shaun I trust"
