Posting of Circular

UMC Energy announces that, further to the announcement made by the Company on 4 March 2016, a circular ("Circular") containing further details in relation to the proposed cancellation of admission of the Company's ordinary shares to trading on AIM ("De-listing") is today being sent to shareholders.

The Circular also contains the notice of general meeting ("Notice of General Meeting") to be held at 11.00 a.m. on 6 April 2016 at the offices of Strand Hanson Limited 26 Mount Row London W1K 3SQ, at which shareholder approval for the De-listing will be sought.

A copy of the Circular will shortly be available on the Company's website, www.umc-energy.com
