The Sage Group plc

The Sage Group plc ("Sage") announces that on 1 June 2017 it granted options ("Options") over a total of 2,207,908 ordinary shares of 1(4/77) pence each ("Ordinary Shares") to 2,578 employees pursuant to the all-employee Sage Save & Share Plan (the "Plan").

The Options are exercisable between 1 August 2020 and 1 February 2021. The exercise price was set at a 20% discount to the average middle market quotation of the three dealing days prior to the launch of the Plan on 9 May 2017 and is 559 pence per Ordinary Share*. The allocation of share options was made available to all employees globally, who were employed on or before 1 May 2017. Employees are limited to a maximum saving of GBP500 per month (or equivalent in local currency) over the period of the Plan. The grant of options amounts to 0.197% of the Company's current issued share capital. The exercise of options on maturity is not dependent upon performance criteria.
