Posted at 26/1/2024 19:05 by clocktower Well that million trade that looks like a big sell at a low of just 4.25 makes you wonder what’s going on.Dividend is low but surely there is potential for growth what with TCAT and just asset value let alone increased income from good management of the assets. |
Posted at 28/11/2023 09:23 by harrogate Well that jump to 7p in September didn't last long. What a miserable existence it is as an OMIP shareholder. What could change that - got to be TCAT. At some time soon the development has to be done and it's revenue opportunities made much clearer to us. Down over 15 percent in the year. |
Posted at 14/9/2023 23:52 by yump Not sure many people want a small stock as a sizeable investment as an income stock. Risks are too high. At the moment with safe returns at 5-6%, discounts to NAV don’t really mean much for the big stocks and certainly not for tiny ones. Perhaps that will change.Bit different if you’re getting a very fat dividend from a private company where the number of shares has been carefully limited. All eyes on TCAT for me. |

But what you need to feel in these situations is that management are laser focused on value creation and I am not as confident on that as I would like to be. Given the recent announcements by RHM and Song that show they are prepared to take action to release value I hope that the management here are also at work and we simply don't get more moaning on about the share price on MI Twitter |

Posted at 08/9/2023 08:02 by harrogate Round Hill music bought out today at a near 100% premium to the share price - only 15% discount to NAV. Not the same of course but it does show the massive discount OMIP is on that TCAT funding is partly to blame for. |
Posted at 24/8/2023 08:33 by harrogate 2 new senior appointments at TCAT. Must be on 6 figure salaries given their backgrounds. We really are going all in here on TCAT as this is a further cost that the core business will fund. The problem for us with this game of poker that OMIP are playing is that we have no idea what cards they are actually holding. As MI is a major holder we have to hope that he knows that TCAT can/will be sold at a decent price |
Posted at 29/3/2023 08:56 by yump I suppose they’re in a good position, having their own catalogue to test TCAT on. A pure tech would have to borrow someone else’s. I imagine the big labels will be working with some tech businesses - lets hope those include OMIP - at least there’s direct experience here. |
