NWF Group plc: Appointment of new Group Finance Director
NWF Group plc ("NWF" or the "Group"), the specialist agricultural and distribution business delivering feed, food and fuel across the UK, announces the appointment of Christopher James Belsham, age 41, as its new Group Finance Director with effect from June 2017.
Chris qualified as a chartered accountant in 1999, with PwC, before joining KPMG Corporate Finance where he spent 15 years working on a broad range of transactions for both public and private companies across the UK. In 2014, Chris joined Irwin Mitchell as an Equity Partner and Head of Corporate Finance, responsible for leading on strategic acquisitions for the business.
As Group Finance Director, Chris will work closely with the experienced divisional and central finance teams as well as supporting the Board in delivering the Group's strategic goals.
Commenting on the appointment, Richard Whiting, Chief Executive of NWF, said: "I am delighted that Chris will be joining us. He is someone I have worked with previously in his advisory capacity and I look forward to his excellent knowledge and expertise benefitting the Group going forward."
