New World Oil and Gas plc
("the Company")
Annual General Meeting ("AGM") - new notice
The Company has today sent to holders of ordinary shares in the Company ("shareholders") a notice convening an AGM of the Company to be held at 11:00am on 12 October 2016 at the offices of Jeffreys Henry, Finsgate 5-7 Cranwood Street, London, EC1V 9EE. The notice will be available on the Company's website www.nwoilgas.com.
The AGM that was convened for 29 September 2016 at 11.30am has been cancelled.
The Board decided to re-convene the AGM given the longer AGM notice period required for certain overseas shareholders and in order to make the AGM more accessible to the majority of shareholders who are resident in the United Kingdom.
The proposed new articles of association and the financial statements for the year to 31 December 2015 were sent to shareholders previously on 13 September 2016 in hard copy. These documents can also be downloaded from the Company's website www.nwoilgas.com.
