L'Etat britannique a réduit sa participation dans Lloyds (LLOY.LN) d'un point de pourcentage, à 9,89%, poursuivant ainsi sa série de cessions d'actions de la banque.
Lloyds a indiqué jeudi que l'Etat détenait à présent 7,06 milliards de ses actions, soit 9,89% des droits de vote, contre 7,83 milliards d'actions précédemment.
Le gouvernement britannique avait annoncé courant octobre avoir l'intention de vendre au printemps prochain pour au moins 2 milliards de livres sterling (2,7 milliards d'euros) d'actions Lloyds sur le marché, dans le cadre de son projet de cession totale de sa participation dans le groupe bancaire.
Lloyds a été sauvé par l'Etat britannique pendant la crise financière. Londres avait alors pris une participation de 39% dans la banque, qu'il a commencé à réduire à la fin 2013.
