Genesis Emerging Markets Fund Limited ("the Fund")

Management Fee Reduction

The Board of the Fund informs shareholders that, following discussion with Genesis Asset Managers, LLP ("the Manager"), there is to be a reduction in the management fee the Manager is entitled to receive from the Fund.

The new management fee will be 0.95% per annum, which is charged on the Net Asset Value of the Fund. (The current level is 1.25% per annum.)

This change will take effect at the start of the Fund's 2017-18 financial year, on 1(st) July 2017.
